The Soles de Sonora Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/solesdesonora/) welcomes the Chihuahua Savage to the MASL and states "See you on the court soon" which, if it happens, won't be in the MASL in the 2021-2022 season. The Soles' earlier Facebook post from July 9th shows them being introduced as a member of the EL1TE League along with Chihuahua and four other teams. So, it sounds like Soles de Sonora is still in the soccer business, it just won't be in the MASL.

Its not the logo that is going to cost you it's the Brand Name. The logo should cost between $250 to $500

but they're committed to coming back in 2022-23, they said with a straight face.

rochester says they are coming back in january 2023, too, which is either a neat trick or an m2 situation.

We should all know by now, the history of teams leaving and returning are bad percentage wise.

Those that do, suffer from lethargy, and non impression... there are only a few teams that span the time of this sport.

I believe part of Rochester’s problem is their arena situation. The Dome Arena is being used by the state (or at least it had been) for a COVID treatment center. To play this year, the Lancers would have to find a new place to play. I think Blue Cross Arena is out of their price range now. The Lancers organization does sponsor a team in the NPSL and a women’s team.

And I think the NISA's Rochester-based Flower City Union acquired the Rochester Lancers men’s team in the NPSL and the Lady Lancers in the UWS, but not sure whether that club will continue with the Rochester Lancers name.

Teams in the MASL have too good of a history of returning in a way. It's good that they came back, but it's not good that Rochester, Dallas, Monterrey, and Sonora come and go as they please, not even counting the nine teams who opted out of last season for the pandemic.

Hawaii team to join MASL. Owned By Hart Pearson. This seems kind of crazy, major $$$ for travel.

the only part of that that is true is that there is a human with that name who did one of those things.

zero chance there is a maui team owned by this guy playing in the masl in <90 days.

a couple of people - including and perhaps limited to someone who just joined the site - are pulling your leg.

the address listed for "maui soccer association" is a credit union in los angeles and the phone number is for the william morris endeavor talent agency.

there was no 1989 world cup.

this team does not exist. move along.

The Lancers had to sit out because no one can reach the person IN charge of the arena, The Arena phone number is disconnected, The Lancers were given a strict timeline to provide the league with arena dates. Anyone who could not do this by the agreed upon date had to sit out this year.

reputable "pressers," too! i mean, menafn.com, which lets anyone submit articles, is my go-to for solid reporting.

and medium. which is well known for hard-hitting journalism.

then there is a no-byline, "advertising content" nonsense press release on a tv news station site that lets you submit your own content and which explicitly says "Information contained on this page is provided by an independent third-party content provider. Frankly and this Station make no warranties or representations in connection therewith."

fun that it's in maryland, because of course it is. same baltimore trolls as always.

you created your account this weekend specifically to do this. do better.
