Cp has a better touch, but Reyna has pretty much better everything else except speed too. Honestly I think aaronson, Reyna, and pulisic are very close in talent right now
Really like aaronson but I think there is a material difference between reyna/pulisic and him. happy for this to end up being really wrong as a take though .
I dont see many differences between him and pulisic honestly except the fact aaronson usually plays deeper in midfield
And in a dramatically weaker league. Hard to compare what Aaronson does in Austria with guys in the Premier League and Germany. I need to see him do it at a higher level to even make the comparison.
Yeah, I find it hard to compare Aaronson and Gio when Gio is out here playing like he wants to be starting for Man City in two years. I like Brendan, but the two are a different level in quality. I mean, that 2 minute cut is filthy.
The difference is pretty significant IMO. Aaronson is a nice player.... but Gio is something else. He is heading towards world elite IMO.
Touch as in receiving ability? Not a chance IMO. Reyna is looking like he’s well on his way to being one of the best in the world at receiving between lines.
From today’s press conference, Rose says Reyna returned from national team duty with a muscle injury and will miss the next games. Doesn’t say how many. Don't want to mess with hammie strains even as a teen but I'd guess he is back in under 4.
Rose actually said he hopes to have him back after the international break, so possibly it will be a bit longer. I'm thinking if he's out until the international break Greg won't call him up (or at least he shouldn't).
FIFA ratings are such a silly thing. But no way in hell should Reyna have a 36 for defense. The dude is a cage match champion. He has been pushing grown ass men off the ball for the last two years. Playing more of a central role for Rose will definitely show his defensive abilities this year. Awesome goal celebration pic too.
Fitting though, I would say. I think his pace may be underrated due to his gait and long appendages. He doesn't look like Speedy Gonzales but he's got surprising pace, IMHO.
How much of this is the coach trying to hedge his bets and signal to USMNT that he won't be available/doesn't want him to go to the next round of qualifiers? I'd do exactly the same if I were manager TBH. It's a kick in the pants to lose so many important guys to games entirely unrelated to your season.
I mean who knows but there’s no way Renya himself won’t want to be there if he is he’s healthy and ready to go. It’s also possible the club would be ok with him going and playing because they see it as a chance for him to rebuild his fitness. Tuchel basically said this with Pulisic last window, though I don’t think they anticipated him getting hurt.
The potential for injuries are why most managers are loath to have their players go on international duty. I doubt "rebuilding fitness" would alleviate this concern much with most managers.
Unless he’s 100 percent ready, Dortmund should insist he stays home. Last thing Reyna needs is a recurring hamstring injury.
ugh, i know im opening a can of worms here but wasnt that the deal with chandler? if the team rules you "medically" out then that trumps the intl window release? ...and chandler would inevitably be starting/going 90 at the next possible match without fail? feel free to say "nope" and nip this in the bud...
