First big test of the season. Anfield should be LOUD and that will be helpful against Chelsea.

no probs with that lineup at all but Tsimi in at LB would be ok with me, if needed.

I've seen / heard zero about why Trent was limping yesterday. hopefully there's no bad news on the way. Millie could step in (assuming he is ok by then of course) but we absolutely need to be full-strength.

good that Jurgen has a week to prep.

It's too bad Chelsea has already won the league. I think we'll win though and hopefully we can finish 2nd.

With the two opening goals in the first two games of the season, I’m not certain Jota will be dropped.

good point. either Jota or Bobby starting works just fine. it will likely depend on our analysis of the Chelsea back line's weaknesses.

edit: no idea what's happened with that "W" :) can't get rid of the spacing ....

During the Chav/Arse match, second game of the season. (Curly, Larry and Mo.) White, Dixon and LeSaux were discussing which of the three teams would win the Prem. City, Arse or Chavs. Then at the end one pointed out that they hadn’t mentioned a team beginning with “L”

I’d like to be able to remind them of that come next May.

Loved the way they fell over each other in ecstasy when Lukaku scored his wonder goal from 3 feet out. With no help at all.

Dixon and LeSaux make me want to puke every time I hear them speak.

I agree with that, but think that Klopp will want Bobby's pressing and intangibles in from the start.

you obviosuly know zero about the game. according to the bbc, scoring a goal like that means you're "unplayable".

and today the guardian has a headline about how Serie A is - gasp - managing to survive without him!!

    ffs ....

edit: and they have no less than 3 articles about how crap Arsenal are.

You must be “ever so sick” then ‘cos Dixon never stops. He gets on one theme at the beginning of the game then spends 30 minutes explaining how it should be done.
In between Arlo Guthrie will keep saying “wasn’t that a penalty?”

Oh that is the “shiny button” on my remote.

I know I say it here but I’d like to remind him to his face how he got 3 assists in one match when God got the fastest hat trick ever at the time.

Think Jota is probably a better option off the bench as well.

I think it will be hard to keep out Diogo given the goals. He also presses really really well - doesn't get enough credit.

    midfield will be:

Keita, Henderson, Fabinho (if he feels ready)

Thiago will come in at some point as well.

Lukaku did play well but I expect Fab to sit in front of him and stop the pass to him in the first place

Be interesting to see if Matip or VVD is marking him

I would really like to see us press them very aggressively with the Kop in full voice
