Congrats Timo!!! Even if he didn't play in the deciding game, without his contribution Lille doesn't win the league. Good season for him, great season for his squad. PSG are gonna trounce the league next season though.

Disagree. The coaches are doing a great job with Tim and the team (obviously - they just won the league), plus there will be good chances at Lille for Weah to get a productive position. People should look askance at any p.t. Weah gets for Berhalter and concentrate on his club performance which will be spectacular next year,

Why would he leave? They will have CL next year and defending champs. He played a fair amount considering his injury history.

This isn't the year to get out. He was not healthy at the beginning of the season. Next year, they need to show patience with him and put him on the field if he's fit. David (who is just a month older than Tim) got chance after chance after chance this season, despite playing like a donkey until around mid-January. Then he started to take off. I really hope Tim gets that kind of a shot next season.

Weah is playing well, he has provided decent service from both sides and centrally, too bad no one seems interested in making runs.

    I'm a Lille interested :whistling:

Any updates appreciated, I'm busy enjoying watching Puli make it even harder for the Chelsea fans to find reasons to claim he sucks. :D

I've been watching both the Pulisic game and parts of the Weah game. I've seen Weah getting some attacking chances but I can't watch the Weah game while typing on the computer.

Lille has allowed a goal every 23 minutes so far this season. Woof.

Lol, I was doing the same thing. Good lord, what morons. And this gem: "Jorginho would be good if he were stronger."

Tim off. Didn't see the first half. Hope somehow the poor performance isn't pinned on him.

Lille's new manager getting a lot of criticism, from what I can tell. The defense was a mess and the attack (including Timmy, if we're being honest) didn't really threaten Nice at all.

I've got it on. Boring game so far. Lille looks poor. Weah hasn't seen much of the ball... one time around '25 he got to the end line and crossed it low to Yilmaz and he had his shot blocked... another time a few minutes later he puts in an over hit cross... big bag of meh

Weah played into the 18 just now '37 but his low cross looking for Yilmaz is blocked out for a corner.

Yilmaz just scored a nice goal. Weah not involved.

    1-0 Lille in the '38.

WTF is Phil Schoen talking about saying no goals and 0-0. It's 1-0 Lille moron. He's so horrible. I can't stand his voice

Fair enough. I should probably quit drinking. Just bitter as he's so negative when it comes to USMNT but then I went and got negative.
