I would take a chance if it’s not crazy money. Sampdoria Torreira and Veretout would dominate midfields.

dzeko is much better he showed in 3 leagues and champions league and uefa cup this guy show something one year under conte and his gung ho style up and down the field other then that guy sucks in any constructive passing systems. dzeko top scorer in 2 leagues would be in epl if he played week in and week out 10th on list of goal scorers in 21 cetury lukaku for sure is not in front of him

Dzeko WAS a world-class starter. The key word in that sentence is "was". We made the mistake of holding onto him for too long. With net wages of 2M-3.5M, I would have loved to keep him as a backup, because that's where he is at this stage of his career.

is it dzeko top scorer for roma in all the seasons he was there except last year drama b.s. of course he was he passed like montela or others on list guys that were there whole careers. and having to play for roma and their previous owners and who they were buying it is miracle he scored that much

Dzeko scored 1 in 10 chances created. If he wasnt such a big useless twonk Roma would have been in the CL even with all the dysfunction. He was served chances on a plate and he missed most of them, not just the average chances missed by a striker but literal 6 yard tap ins. A least 50 of them Id say over his career here. Ive never seen a 6 foot 4 guy so useless in the air either and to top it off, his sulky attitude. All things that kept him at the good striker level when he could have been one of the greats of his generation. A goodbye that came 2 years too late.

lol roma always had probably when dzeko was there 5 or 6 best squad in italy. inter milan napoli juve always had better squad so what did you expect to be better then those with players you had. lol guy scored more goals then all the strikers combined sometimes maybe somebody else should score

Dzeko missing sitters was a large part of the reason our squad level was disappointing.

dude, everyone on this board has watched Dzeko loaf around the pitch for the last three seasons. At the end of last year he actively played for Sampdoria against Roma. He’s completely done. I’m not sure he had more than 10 good appearances over the last few years.

If you'd have watched last season or the year before you would see he has his fair share of the blame. I have been very critical of the tactics we've seen used but 100% in that first year of Fonseca there were 2 players in particular that stopped Roma from CL, which they just missed out on by the thinnest of margins. Those 2 players were Olsen and Dzeko.
The goalkeeper and the striker at both ends of the pitch. If either one of them had what you could call an average season, Roma would have have CL money last year and things would have improved for the squad. Instead we got fcuking Pedro. So yeah thanks for missing sitters Dzeko, carved up on a plate for the big lazy stick. He has quit on the pitch numerous times at the end of seasons, enough to sour the goals he has scored. I dont care how talented you are if you turn up when you feel like it.

Enjoy watching him hobbling about the San Siro with his zimmer frame this season.

How come none of this affected Borja Mayoral? He outscored Dzeko in fewer minutes, Dzeko is done at the top level

only time will tell better players better team better tactics and dzeko will show what he can do. if dzeko played like he played for roma in pre season i would be worried but seeing him against kiev i think he will be at top form
