That is Liga MX defense fault or el Chepo, right?

    Are you high seriously?

I already told you about the CR situation of the goal, can't you read? Like I said, take a breather, you're embarrassing yourself.

People hating on Chicharito; is the most absurd thing ever. Numbers don’t lie; he’s scored that many goals for our selección for a reason.

Also against some top teams in the World Cup. ALSO some major goals for some MAJOR clubs in Europe.

People hating because he doesn’t “carry” the team.

That’s not his style of play. He’s a poacher; and to me, one of the best poachers of all time. His positioning is world class/legendary. He’s one of the best at what he does which is scoring goals. That’s his job and he does it well.

Lol, I bet if Chicharito had the two clear sitters that Orbelin whiffed last night he would have scored at least one of those and we would be singing a different tune today

I don’t know. Won a league title, cup tile, and Concacaf Champions league with a previously dormant Chivas team that as we know only fields players eligible for the national team. I’m no Chivas guy (Santos over here), but his trajectory was pointing up. The Chivas knife cuts both ways: overrated by diehards and chopped off at the legs by Chivas haters. We’ll never know, but the man bled and sweat for a club full of Mexicanos.

I don't know if it cuts both ways as Chivas is the most popular team in Mexico and thus while Chivas haters hate him, they are outnumbered by Chivas lovers. I don't think his trajectory was going up but it was stable but since it's Chivas, it's magnified. Chivas may have had a weak squad but like I said, it wasn't a major and supposedly in San Jose he hasn't shown much at all.

Martino has a reputation for being stubborn. Had he acknowledged and corrected certain player selections, he might have had decent bench options to choose from instead of Salcedo, Pizarro and Pulido. I’d like to think we also had better players in Liga MX than Jona and Chaka.

The main thing is that if Funes Mori was subbed out we had Chicharito instead of Alan Pulido. There was the problem that if Funes Mori had a bad game or got injury, that was our replacement. But of course the thing in Mexico was turned into Funes Mori vs Chicharito instead Chicharito vs Pulido, so....

This! The stupid media made it seem that it was Funes Mori taking Chicharito’s spot when in fact it was Pulido. I had to turn off Picante last night because Hugo came out with his nationalist bullshit. The Mexican media is garbage. The sooner people realize this, the better off we will be

He could've given Kevin Álvarez a try, at least in the group stage.

He stunk it against Nigeria and Tata got scared. There lies the problem of Tata in underrating his team. He thought the team was good enough it was going to win easily the games and thus gave the Gold cup as a consolation price to the players that got cut from Tokyo. And thus we didn't have a bench at all for the competition because he find out fast it was going to be a problem.

I would rather have Vela than Chicharito. Vela always shows up vs the US

We gotta stop asking for Vela. Coincidentally, the team he wanted to play in is doing well.

These comments talk about Mexican football’s faults and how players end up rejecting call ups due to various reasons. In Vela’s case, he doesn’t like how the football federation operates and just says no. There are few who think he would come back.

Vela is 32 years old. This is not like 2013 when he was in his prime and refused to suit up for his countrymen.

Let him go y'all. Let a youngster who cares represent.

I believe that most of us agree on giving the young players having a chance. The problem is how to give them playing time on the first team(s) with all of the corruption and extranjeros taking up slots. Santiago Munoz tried to make the jump but Santos lo freno.

Just an observation from last nights match and not saying that this/they is/are the answer. Cuando O Rodríguez and Tiba Sepúlveda entraron, they hustled and moved quickly and kept up with the pace and more. The sense of urgency that Mexico showed after the US goal is the sense of urgency they should play all matches. Couple that with new endurance training on top of possession that Mexico uses, your game significantly improves.

Mexico has world class childrens/youth talent and it’s demonstrated through the tournaments Mexico participates in. The problem is when money is involved.

Vela is done with the NT, and I don't blame him.

Chicharo instead of Pulido would have been a huge upgrade, but Tata is a stubborn ********. Instead he brings Pizarro...

Real hard truth, you have Chicha tonight you win 2-0. Why in God's green earth did you banish him I mean......thank you, but I still want this to actually be competitive. You guys arent too good to banish either Vela or Chicha. Write your very, very, very sorry notes to them and get them back into the fold or youre in trouble. Might wanna put that "BuT ThEyRe mLs pLaYerZ" pride to bed too. MLS players or not, those guys are respected and guys we have to game-plan against specifically. No one else in that side really does.

Speaking of MLS, if you guys arent on the white courtesy phones with Araujo and Pepi right now, you are wrong. Araujo immediately improves your team.
