By far yes. Although i don’t think he will be the same, RJ9 is the same height, similar style but quicker feet for disparos sin pensarlo

With Rulas and Chucky out, it was his time to lead the attack. Couldn’t be more disappointed. And it wasn’t just in this game, it was all tournament long.

Dude is not big club material.

 

He was fine.

 

Mexico created chances at the beinning. Problem is that there were a lot of misses and bad shots. The players lost this game. No coach is going to be scoring the goals out there.

 

I only watched the first 70 minutes but it was terrible from Mexico. Lots of possession but complete lack of composure and skill going forward. I couldn't believe how bad our fullbacks and midfield was when passing the ball forward. Too indecisive and timid with the ball. Gallardo and Chaka are awful going forward. Edson Alvarez was almost as bad as those two with some terrible mental lapses.

The US looked terrible going forward as well but at least they defended much better.

Typical result where we have loads of possession but don't do anything with it. It almost seemed the team was playing for penalty kicks instead of looking for a result. Overall, the lack of quality defenders is really holding back this team and the midfield is meh...

I’m just hoping Macias rapidly improves in Spain, cause Funes Mori isn’t no Jimenez or Chicharito. He’s good as a third option, maybe.

 

I say yes since we don't have much going on other than Henry or Chicharito. Until Raul comes back. He has to be a sub at least or titular.

 

Time for the team to regroup and focus on Qualifiers now. Let them have those two Molero Finals. Aver si deberas son de verdad in the WCQ.

Hopefully not winning this tournament will finally be able to get rid of some players. All the MLS players and Gutierrez need to be gone and the young players better be brought up immediately after the olympics.

What I don't understand is that most of these players were with Osorio. We were great at defending set pieces with him. Did they not learn anything? WTF.

 

Funes Mori was solid but wasteful with his chances. Overall he's a good forward that didn't get any service since our fullbacks suck and our midfield was meh going forward. He dives a little bit too much but I though he was one of the best players out there.

 

What planet are you living in? If shitters like Antuna get called up after scoring hatticks against Bermuda and St Kitts and Nevis, those guys will all be 100% part of the WC qualifiers.

Forget the PKs. How this team couldnt score one measly goal in 90 minutes, let a lone 120, is pathetic.

Have you seen how many shit foreigners each club has? Clubs have no excuse not to give young players game time now that there is no relegation.
