I really hope they come out all systems go like the game versus Honduras. The nads have had terrible defense masked by good goalkeeping and extremely porous finishing. If Mexico is able to create chances they need to bury them. If that happens it will be an easy win. That said, I expect a slow, physical and frustrating game. Hopefully not with the typical goal against the run of play, which the Nads seem to rely so much on.
In a way I'm kind of glad Mexico struggled versus Canada after cruising against Honduras. I feel that it if they would have beaten Canada easily they would have gone into the final way too overconfident. Especially, against a US that has been kind of lackluster. This is the type of game where I could see Mexico squeaking out a win by a goal or they run away with it early. I think the youth and inexperience of this US team is going benefit Mexico. All of the US players a certainly playing for first team spots and a chance to be in the WCQs and potentially a World Cup next year. I could see this US team try to play "al tu por tu" with Mexico which could benefit Mexico and create a more open game. Tecatito has been kind of off all tournament but I could see him having a monster performance today.
The only way I can see this game being close is if, as usual, the keeper has the game of his life vs us. He made a few game changing saves vs Qatar and I expect the same tonight
