His link up play is his strong suit.. he always plays back to the goal like Patrick Ewing in the post... He is always is a pass release valve.. But what is underrated is how hard he works and tracks back to disrupt opposing teams build up. He's got strength and stamina.. Ballsy move by Lozano to start Antuna.. Antuna played sensational. Vega is fanatic.. Montes played well but needs some seasoning.. he can't push the ball up and make errant passes to leave the backline exposed. He did have a few nice passes vs France but he should always be concerned with not giving up the ball to a potential counter.. Imma enjoy this win before thinking ahead to Brazil. It's good to enjoy the moment.
Completely agree, soak in victory. Collectively they were great which is why I’m not going to dwell on the shortcomings. My only beef is the lack of awareness. Once we were up by 3 you have let everyone know…no yellows, if you get smoked let your gk save your ass. If anyone can it’s goatchoa.
La verdad fue un poco de suerte, pero asi algunas veces en el deporte. Ese error infantil que cometio el defensa de Costa de Marfil, con eso te aseguro que no contaba España, especialmente a un minuto de terminar el juego cuando la concentracion debe ser al maximo. España y Brazil tienen los jugadores mas talentosos, Japon habia jugado mejor que todos hasta hoy y Mexico juega bien colectivamente y tiene un plantel para competir contra cualquiera.

México tiene que arreglar sus problemas defensivos y el hueco en el mediocampo. Brasil trae muy buen equipo la verdad, será un gran partido. Romo es prácticamente un hecho estará en Europa. Pero Vega, Vega definitivamente tiene que salir, un gol vs Brasil podría prender a algún interesado. Si no sale este verano es prácticamente un error porque llegará a Qatar sin experiencia en Europa. Montes o Vasquez, que también al menos uno se vaya a Europa.

@LaMascara Do we still own Esquivel? If so, I don't know why we keep doing Juarez a favor by having him there indefinitely on loan. He might not be the star of this squad but we could use him now that Burrito is a bench player.
I think the midfield issues will get better once we replace Esquivel with Charly. We need Córdova to show up too, though I fear he’s due for multiple bad games after his performance against Korea.
It wasn’t that bad, honestly. We were just mainly attacking through the wings. Commentators mentioned that it was due to Korea’s tactics/formation but I think the answer’s a bit more straight forward than that: Esquivel imo is a bit in over his head at this level.
Still not good enough for the main team. He does well against young guys and skinny Asians tho. I'll give him that.
