Kicker: Next Sunday, Hansi Flick will officially become Germany's new manager. Its presentation will take place on August 10. Although Flick will not start working as selector until August 1, Hansi has been working intensively since Germany has been eliminated from the EURO. The 56-year-old had a workshop with his assistants and the rest of the staff. Flick also had talks with the coaches of BL clubs. Flick has talked with Nagelsmann and Rose, among others. Everything took place in a very communicative atmosphere. Tuchel will also be an important contact for Hansi. Flick will keep in touch with the coaches to keep up-to-date with the players. The new manager wants to be very active and up to date with the health of his representatives. The 56-year-old will have an open ear for recommendations from individual players, realizing that his colleagues in the clubs have a better view of the situation. Hansi is open to working with coaches. Danny Roehl (new assistant in the national team) will, in turn, regularly visit the clubs and watch the training sessions. Moreover, in each turn, the coaches will watch the matches from the stands. With taking over as manager, Hansi Flick wants to be an active and modern coach. The German has already carried out an analysis of the performance of the German team at EURO. It is certain that the staff behind Flick will cultivate an offensive style of play
Hansi Flick is eyeing Lukas Nmecha and Karim Adeyemi to solve Germany's problems upfront. The new coach has also watched Ragnar Ache during the Olympics [Kicker]— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) July 28, 2021
called it since Flick hired, no way, he plays without CF. His whole Bayern style of play is 100% CF dependant. If you want to get best out of Muller, Sane, Gnabry, Musiala, Kimmich Goretzka you need a CF uptop no false 9. 1-Ache has a lot of potential but after a year mostly injured needs time. But our Asamoah 2.0, is fast, good at holding ball, can score headers, constantly going for volleys. At Olympics legit had a lot of solo Ache, 1 man army. 2-Nmecha has good 1st touch, technique, dribbling, physical striker who can score pretty much everything. Also involved in hold up/build up too. His main issue is effciency, needs to work on that, only thing holding him back. 3-Adeyemi looking to skip U21 eligible (him and Wirtz already won it anyways) until 2025 LMAO. But lighting speed striker, presses a TON, has dribbling skills, not as weak as he looks, moves well, creates space for teammates with running, involved in build up and scores all type of goals too. Still needs to work on decision making. Adeyemi is usually something one sees more from Brazil than Germany. A lot think has world class prospects. at U21 2021, Adeyemi was a HUGE nuisance on Dutch and Portugal while being 2 cylces younger, LOL. Portugal couldn't keep up with him got wrecked by him, should have assisted Burkardt but selfishness stopped him.... suprising that Flick considering an Austrian Bundesliga player but going for quality over league and will play CL anyways. 4-for younger, Serra (who Flick has praised), Kruger, Berisha/J.Eggestein (need to play higher), Tigges could be other options.
but end of day, only Can is worthy of playing CF. has played CB, LB, RB, DM, CM, AM, RW, LW,. only missing CF for outfield, lulz
All of that sounds encouraging. 100% agree we need a proper CF based system, and there are some interesting options.
also one has to think about Nmecha, Adeyemi and Ache and potential poaching too. Reports constantly saying Nigeria wants to poach Nmecha.....based on old rules wouldn't be possible as applied for 1 time switch....I"m still not in tune with new rules so not sure why its supposedly possible. if one thinks about it from 98-99 CFs, Nmecha, Ache and Berisha are only dual CFs, rest even in 2BL are all full Germans.
I can't get Niklas Dorsch to Augsburg out of my head. Been watching even more of him recently and it's only underlined how big a coup he is for them. Could play at a European-level Bundesliga team right now, certain he will be in a year or two. https://t.co/0niqDdhtNc— Llew (@ffwtbollew) July 26, 2021 This is Karim Adeyemi – the situation, change of speed, balance to withstand contact and ability to find the final action at the end of it all. He carries (counter-)attacks by himself. pic.twitter.com/ZE7NXVUYjc— Llew (@ffwtbollew) July 25, 2021 He is extremely quick, and the intensity of almost everything he does takes it to another level https://t.co/xzXZ0stQmw— Llew (@ffwtbollew) July 25, 2021
Dorsch, Wirtz, Baku and Nmecha should all be called up for the WC qualifying imo. Good chance for them to establish themselves v pretty weak opposition. The quicker new faces are integrated the better. Wouldn’t mind some other CB’s getting a chance either, maybe players like Friedrich, Pieper, N Schlotterbeck or Uduokhai?
Would be more surprised if they weren't then if they were. If I were Flick, I'd want to take a look at all my options. Prorbably winnow out some of them for the October matches, but I expect he will call a lot to the September training camp. From an earlier @Ger90 post: "The German has already carried out an analysis of the performance of the German team at EURO. " I would really love to see what that analysis revealed. Other than the sentences that start with "Jogi Loew is a ...."
Baku and Wirtz are a no brainer, especially Baku. I already advocated Loew should bring Baku even before Euro U21. We don't have any attacking RB apart from Kimmich. For Dorsch and Lukas Nmecha, they need to prove themselves in bundesliga first.
Dorsch is the guy we need to keep a eye on in the bundesliga. For me if he plays well he can play as a six instead of kimmich who should play as a 8 for Germany. Groetzka /Muller to fight it for the number 10 .
Only time will tell how he can show his true potential at a club like Augsburg. Between him and Arne Maier, it will be interesting too see who will get the call up to the NT first.
Dorsch is 23 and just moved to a perennial relegation team. You guys can forget about the dude. If he had the quality we need, hed be playing CL next year. He doesnt, so forget him and keep searching for younger, more talented players
Thats very drastic. If he gets a good first year and an even better second year with Ausburg. Then he can move to a top club at 25 and have like 7 top years. From what I have seen he really have a great skill-set that could be very useful for the nationalteam.
Mark my words, Dorsch will be a Hugh player for the National team in the notvtp distance future. As for his club, in time a top club will come calling.
It's 1st of August in Germany, which means that the Flick era has officially begun. Herzlich willkommen, Hans-Dieter Flick.
