The Romanians seemed to be struggling in the heat wave. Their reaction time was slow and they made a lot of mistakes. And with one Romanian player out, Korea penetrated through the Romanian defense easily numerous times. Korea had a lot of chances, but missed a lot.

If you have a VPN afreeca TV and Naver are streaming the Korean channels and their coverage of the Olympics.

Redemption. Scoring 4 will help the attackers' confidence.

It's not even an exaggeration to say they should've scored 7-8. A lot of missed 1v1s, Hwang Uijo not clinical and this Romania side was quite dreadful...but confidence for sure. Loved see LKI out there.

Honestly, will we ever see him be a regular starter for club or country?

Hopefully he can come on later and the seal the win for us again.

If they draw against Romania, they'll go through to the quarterfinals. They'll have 4 pts but better goal differential.

this is the luckiest korean team i’ve ever seen. playing against 10 men for half the group stage, getting penalties peppered at em like its yeot. I would’ve liked to see these boys play through and overcome more adversity in this group. lets see if they’re really this good or if they will be exposed against a real team in the knockout rounds

Top of the group , who thought. Alot of luck yes. Good to get Hwang UI going.

Now they will face nr 2 in group A. Japan, Mexico, South Africa or France.

One comedian in my country once said: "It is better to be born without "that thing" (genitals), than without luck."

Of course, victories improve morale, and inspire players for tough challenges.

Happy for the win and happier that we're through. Lee Dong-jun has also been one of our standout performers thus far IMO.

But holy crap. This team still gives me tons of heartburn despite collecting 6 points. So many missed opportunities...so many wasted chances...so many unforced errors near the box...so many "pass miss".

Exactly. The result against Honduras does nothing to show how hopeless we are at scoring from open play, moving the ball efficiently, defending, etc.

I predict we are going to get demolished by Mexico or France.

    Romania + Honduras - "니가 가라 8강".

I am still not sure if we played well bc Honduras pretty much did everything for us lol.

    LKI should play more...
LDJ is the MOM again for me.

PJS has been pretty good. Glad he got selected.

I am so glad we are not gonna face Japan in quarterfinals.

    Japan would MURDER this team.

You'd think these weak showings would light a fire under the asses of the KHB and the KFA but what can you do when you have a team and organization complacent with just scraping by.
