It is hard to speculate, but Rangers would definitely be the best team in MLS and then most likely Celtic, but then most MLS teams would be better than the rest of the league. Although depending on the year a 3rd or 4th place team might be good enough to finish above a majority of MLS teams.
Again, using the same metric (money doesn't always equal better players, but it's a decent general rule, though can be skewed a bit by young, undervalued players), you are dead on. There's a $12m gap between Celtic and LAFC valuations, but a $40m gap between LAFC and Rangers, though MLS clubs tend to be much more tightly bunched than the SPL, in which the third highest club is Hibs, while MLS' 27th highest value roster (Houston) is dead even with Hibs and most are about double it.

the league that a club is in influences the valuation of its players. on the high end, simply being in the EPL drastically inflates a players value. I'd say MLS' valuations are moving closer to the rest of the world...but that the salary suppression mechanisms in MLS definitely tend to lead to lower valuations vis a vis the rest of world than might otherwise occur. It isnt a free market with objective valuations on players.

I do think that even the least of the players in the EPL are at a pretty high level, though you're probably right that some valiues are inflated a bit. But I don't see that applying to the SPL. It may not be a perfect free market, but it's a pretty good one.

Florenzi's camp has made clear he won't be second-choice to Kardsorp. He is staying in Rome until a transfer to a new club can be agreed, while rest of squad continues pre season in Portugal. That should open up backup RB spot for Reynolds and makes sense why Roma is rejecting loans. Karsdorp isn't that good and it's odd they rate him over Florenzi. This can open up nicely for Reynolds if Karsdorp hits a rough patch of form.
