However, he has been playing in pre season and even is listed with the #10 shirt (previously worn by Vietto). This could be a sign that he will stay. Otherwise, not much else on the transfer front. We have 2 new players and potentially signing Ugarte, but I believe any other potential players coming in will only be after player sales. And we have a ton of fodder to get rid of, just Battaglia, Diaby, Ilori make something like 6 mill a year

Pedro Mendes loaned to Rio Ave with an option to buy for 2M euros. We also have a buy back option for 4M. That leaves us with Paulinho, Sporar and Tiago Tomas for striker. I think Sporar is being shopped around, so we'd still need a backup here.

Tondela is interested in loaning Eduardo Quaresma for a season. I think it would do him a lot of good to play regularly for a season.
I agree as well. His attitude last season costed him playing time. A loan to Tondela would hopefully help him mature a little and gain playing time with their 11. A win win for Quaresma and Sporting my opinion.

Palhinha's situation was different though. Amorim did not want him for some reason. It seemed all of us knew how good he was except Amorim early last year. Of course he's been abysmal, he's barely played. He'll benefit from that Tondela loan.
Rumours that Feyenoord want Sporar. Our asking price is 7M euros, a little over what we paid for him, for now Feyenoord's bid is 4M euros. I'd say if we can get 6M and recoup the investment it's not bad, we can channel that and Rosier's sale to potentially a central defender and a better striker to give Paulinho competition.
