Also, if I'm Rush physical therapy I have a clause that says no ads run if the Fire go down 4. I've seen 4 now and my head says "you did a shitty job!'
Have we had this backline/formation during our recent little unbeaten streak? Seems like he made changes just to make changes rather than just ‘manning the ship’ and seeing if what’s been working keeps working.
They don't bother with that many commercials on ESPN+ There has been 7-8 minutes of dead air and it was more enjoyable than watching the Fire in the first half
Perhaps, but that does not explain Kappelhoff having an awful, awful game. I don't see the line up as that different than the last few games. I checked, it is precisely the same line up as last game
Aliseda scores! Here comes the comeback! With a goal in the first 2 minutes, the Fire on path for scoring 22 this half
A fifth goal, fourth for Mukhtar. Offsides It does not look like he was offsides there. The goal should have counted.
I’m not saying we’d be winning or anything like that with someone other than Klopas, just that we wouldn’t be down 4 goals and a man at half. Lineup may not be that different, but different enough that it had me asking questions and the results don’t really seem to justify the (admittedly minor) changes. I’ll confess to having hoped that the Fire would cream Nashville and do the same to DCU next week to the extent that Klopas was awareded the head coach position, so it’s possible my expectations have something to do with my disappointment. 5-1.
How is Klopas the blame for the Fire going down a player? That makes no sense. "Different enough"!?! It was EXACTLY the same as the last game. Edit: there was one change, Bornstein started the last one. I guess that is the difference.
How do they allow Tyler's mic to be ********ed up the entire game? Do they not have a production staff listening???
Yeah, I questioned that, especially considering the past week plus that had people talking about Bornstein being deserving of the captain’s armband. Who knows what impact it would’ve had on the game to have had Wicky coaching and honestly it’s 100% possible that he dictated this lineup to Klopas, but to me it just feels like Klopas being at the helm was a negative tonight. The result is certainly undesirable regardless to where the blame lies.
