    Love that Mohammed Kudus, a Ghanaian is on Ajax and that another one of my countrymen Kamaldeen Sulemana might join Ajax since Ajax appears to be interested in him.

    Hmm, i'm not a fan at all either. Feels like a very uninspiring signing to me. If you're gonna put down that money for a rival's player, why not try Ihattaren?

    I've never really rated Berghuis as anything particularly special. Solid player but that's about it. We'll see if I was wrong!

    Neres will be sold this summer. Antony seldom plays 90 minutes and Tadic is not getting any younger. I think Berghuis is a stop gap purchase until Aajx figure out what to do. Danilo will stay with the club as the 2nd striker and can also play out wide. It's not clear whether any youth players can make the jump to the first team.

    Sulemana is still on Ajax's radar but he is also on Manchester United, Rennes and Liverpool's radar apparently

    Tadic extends his contract as a player to 2024 and as a trainer to 2027. He's not moving anywhere and will end his career at Ajax.

    His salary requirement was absurd from a player whose only experience was in his domestic and the Danish league. He wanted €90K/week which I guess Rennes will give him. We'll see if he makes an impact there.

    Malen is rumoured to "only" asking 78K £ from Liverpool.

    I would like to see him take over Orange Squad after LvG's WC2022 run.
    He has been coaching a minor standing country like Chile, so the Orange Squad wouldnot be a downer for him. Only matter is the money he makes in the epl, but you never know if his hands are itching to coach the likes of VvDijk, de Vrij, de Ligt, Frenkie de Jong and the young talents coming in.

    Lots of interesting transfer news of late...

    Scherpen sold for about 5m Euro. Nice business on him. I just don't think he had a shot at Ajax and wasn't good enough in the Europa matches.

    Seems like Onana will go to Lyon for about 8m Euro.

    Ajax turned down 18m Euro for Alvarez. I hope they can sell him. I just don't think he passes enough to play in the MF if Ajax want to do anything in CL especially if Davy is in there too. At times it looked like Gravenbserch was playing a one-man midfield last year.

    Feels like Neres on the way out and potentially. I am not a huge fan of being in Bergweijn coming in. I'd rather go with an up and comer.

    For those in the US, tomorrow's match against RB Leipzig will be on ESPN3 at 10 EDT. Other than Alvarez who is still playing in the Gold Cup for Mexico, all the players have reported to Ajax for training. Klaiber was injured the other day and tore a CL and will miss the season.

    Overmars just told that Alvarez is going nowhere. He stays put, so Overmars etc. on the Ajax board have a different opinion about him.

    Correct, only two players may move, Neres and Tagliafico. No offers have come in so far for either player.

    Sad story about a youth player from Ajax. He was with his 18 yo brother in his car (18 yo means just had his licence) and both were killed in a collision.
    Heartbraking for that family to lose two siblings at once.
