Harrison Reed has been linked to Leeds. Tosin has also been linked with a return to the PL. Quite a few options around that if they get the right move could become squad contenders next season.
Hmmm. Not sure about that move. Interesting nonetheless. 🙌 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀!#QPR | #AndreArrives— QPR FC (@QPR) June 15, 2021
Gunn's signed for Norwich. He's 25 now - maybe not too late for him to turn things around. #WelcomeHomeAngus pic.twitter.com/iJ44k01IzI— Norwich City FC (@NorwichCityFC) June 23, 2021
Looking like Ben white to Arsenal. Looks like another great option for us Stones, maguire and white - 3 pretty good options who all can pass out
The last thing I thought Arsenal would want is a CB. Hope they don’t go down the utility player route like Phil Jones at Man Utd.
Even though this article was Very long but thought it was very interesting. I was going to copy and paste it but it exceeds the character requirements so can’t but if you have an account with the Athletic then it’s worth a read: Some England articles ahead of Wednesday's semi-final v Denmark. This is about the new generation of players -- James, Alexander-Arnold, Rice, Bellingham, Mount, Saka, Foden, Sancho, Greenwood etc. So much cause for optimism regardless of what happens next https://t.co/ayNu386jru— Oliver Kay (@OliverKay) July 4, 2021
Just a bit of nonsense fun from the Athletic who did an article of a Covid hit England Squad and what it might look like, in response to the cricket team having to call up an totally new squad for the one day Internationals against Pakistan. Current injured players have been excluded. Goalkeepers: Alex McCarthy (Southampton), Karl Darlow (Newcastle United) and Joe Hart (Tottenham Hotspur) Defenders: Aaron Wan-Bissaka (Manchester United), Tariq Lamptey (Brighton), Fikayo Tomori (AC Milan), Ben Godfrey (Everton), Michael Keane (Everton), Ezri Konsa (Aston Villa), James Tarkowski (Burnley), Matt Targett (Aston Villa) and Aaron Cresswell (West Ham) Midfielders: James Ward-Prowse (Southampton), Ashley Westwood (Burnley), Joe Willock (Arsenal), Dele Alli (Tottenham), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Liverpool), Jesse Lingard (Manchester United), James Maddison (Leicester) Forwards: Patrick Bamford (Leeds), Danny Ings (Southampton), Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa), Emile Smith Rowe (Arsenal), Callum Hudson-Odoi (Chelsea), Jack Harrison (Leeds), Dwight McNeil (Burnley). Any noticeable players that have missed out? Still looks a pretty decent squad to be fair with the exception of the keepers which is pretty thin. Winks might just scrape in there despite his poor season but his experience will probably be needed. The defence looks pretty solid also.
Age groups for the new campaign. Hoping we have a competitive schedule this season. U21’s - 2000’s and above. U20 - 2002’s U19 - 2003’s U18 - 2004’s U17 - 2005’s U16 - 2006’s U15 - 2007’s
Understand Tino Livramento, Lewis Bate and Myles Peart-Harris ended up training with the Under-16s yesterday as the Dev Squad and Under-18s were in Scotland for pre-season friendlies.Their Chelsea futures remain uncertain. More below 👇https://t.co/CGM7LumXn8— Adam Newson (@AdamNewson) July 14, 2021
We welcome the announcement from Government that a further £50m will be invested into community football facilities. This is great news for grassroots sport and our plans to fund a range of new projects alongside our partners at the @premierleague, @FA, @DCMS & @Sport_England.— Football Foundation (@FootballFoundtn) July 15, 2021
We need a lot more cages in built up areas and astroturf pitches that are not super expensive so kids grow up being able to pass the ball not limp it on a boggy pitch
https://theathletic.com/2708648/202...there-is-a-pathway-to-the-chelsea-first-team/ As mentioned above, a number of Chelsea youth-teamers stalling on contracts. In addition to Livramento, Bate, Peart-Harris, the article mentions Dynel Simeu, capped for England at underage level, who is expected to join another Premier League club this week after rejecting a contract offer from Chelsea. It also mentions that there is a change in mindset in general at Chelsea since Tuchel took over, with youth players choosing to leave rather than Chelsea making the decision.
Random question but which No. 9 type youth striker do people rate the highest? Delay? Balogun? Barry? Scarlett?
I'd probably say Delap, used to think he was 'flight risk', but pretty confident he'll stick with England. Quite like Balogun (but not as much) but pretty sure he'll be playing for the USA.
I’ve seems quite a bit of talk about Jones being someone that we’d like to see deeper but I’d like to add Harvey Elliott to that list. His awareness and decision making are second to none. Could really suit a midfield role.
