Not only is that not true, but we knocked them off playing them off the pitch for 75 minutes, only conceding on a soft penalty (yes, it was a penalty). One of the unsung heroes of the tournament has to be Jorginho who has been such a calming influence in the midfield. He was stellar again today. Same with Insigne. Also, Bonucci and Chiello were immense. The only negatives are that we were once again reminded that Immobile is a shit player who cannot be relied upon when it matters and that Spinazzola is likely out the rest of the way. Chiellini was OUTSTANDING today. Not just as a defender. He was an outstanding leader. He was all smiles, joking, and really reducing the tension. Fantastic job by the captain. Given his career, he really deserves to lift the Cup.

We are getting blast by alot of people for diving. Which indeed true, we did dive and time wasting. This need to stop next game, we don't need to rely on these tactics to win, we have enough tallents to get through.
It's one thing to be "professional" in wasting time, but the antics towards the end were over the top, and embarrassing.

No, regardless we dive in the past or dive today, the over the top diving time wasting and diving need to stop. I held high standard for my national team, why do I want to see my national team use time wasting tactic like that?
It's sad for Spinazzola, the injury is so bad and could affect his career. He is supposed to have a bright future after this tournament. Chiellini turned off Lukaku and is solid as always. He is likely to have the best form for the next game. Hope he can stay healthy for the final. Donnarumma would be essential for the next game, when Spain putting in more balls into the 16 yard box. Barella gets the right mentality today. He stopped complaining as he did in the Austria game and stay focus on running and playing football. Someone should have told Immobile to do the same. He is way too selfish, shooting when he should pass, diving and lying on the ground when he should stand up and defend. He is a joke despite the win.
Belotti should have started but then given immobile performance he should have been on at least 15 mins sooner. Stupid pen given away but other than that a very good performance against a tough opponent.
Immobile looked a little silly getting up like he did after Barella's goal and some of the time wasting was a bit much. I think a lot of the players lacked experience, didn't know how to measure it better. This referee was all over the place. He wasn't consistent with the fouls he called. He never looked in charge of the game. Another referee might have gotten the message across to the players to tone the time wasting down. I don't think we would have seen so much of it if the referee had a better handle of the game. Very strong performance. Italy played with a lot of pace on the ball. No one will get near the midfielders if they keep this up. Veratti and Jorginho are making Italy look like Spain from a decade ago. Immobile is a good forward. All that matters for Italy is that one of Immobile, Insigne, or Chiesa step up and produce something. So long as one produces, Italy will have an edge. In the midfield, any of Barella, Pessina or Locatelli, whoever gets subbed or starts, can also make the difference. Between these 4-6 players, Italy have goals in them. I think the best player today was Chiellini. He contained much of Lukaku's threat and that hurt Belgium. They couldn't hold the ball up the way they wanted to with Luka losing most of those battles with Chiello. And Chiello almost made the first goal happen for Italy. He put the Belgium defense under big pressure there, even if it didn't count. Belgium were really riding their luck on that one.
Really? I honestly thought Belgium dove alot this game and complained over and over. Yea we wasted time at the end. Every team does. Though it's the Azzurri - everyone loves to hate us. All good...semi finals here we come. FORZAAAA
