They had put on a good show today but they are not the same team when trying to kill a game. If Croatia had more courage earlier they might have opened them up. Funny how it takes to be out of a game before players fully open up and just play.
If Spain wasn't sloppy, Croatia couldn't get back in. Even now, Spain is letting them penetrate when they go forward. An 8 goal game is illusory.

On paper France has more so called world class players than anyone, too bad the game isn't played on paper. After Pogba's goal they thought they had it in the bag. Someone should have told them that the game goes down to the wire. If they played with better tactics and some intensity like Austria did against us, they would not have lost.
