Feyenoord about to lose our right winger to either Ajax or PSV. We've got no money, so any suggestions for a Lozano quality player for free from Mexico?
No one in Liga MX flies under the radar. You could try scouting someone whose contract is up next year and convince him to not re-sign but that's about it. There are tons of "under the radar" players in the lower divisions, but I don't know how well they're even represented to pull off a move to Netherlands. I can't even remember the last time someone went to a decent Euro league from the lower divisions and made something of himself there. Don't even know if that's ever happened.
Oh you're talking about the Atalanta move? Yes that's correct, he didn't make anything of himself there though. Went back to MX for like 3 or 4 years.
He's in LA with his agent. No one knows yet where he's going. Even if it ends up being LAFC I don't get how people think this is bad compared to what he'd be doing if he had stayed with us. He was ready for a step up, and we have too many players there, so it'll be easier to break into a lesser squad in a lesser league that still leaves him with options. It's a future-oriented move. And he might be able to accomplish his goals faster by doing this.
You guys might think it's impossible/unlikely a quality player is being overlooked, but it happens. Feyenoord needed a striker and the brother of our then coach Koeman was on the beach on holiday and talked with an Italian player about soccer and he said his brother Ronald was looking for a striker. It happened that that Italian guy, Graziano Pelle, was in a dead end street at his club, so he suggested he should contact Ronald. He did it and Ronald was adviced by Louis van Gaal, who coached him at AZ when Pelle still was a youth international for Italy, that Grazi was well worth a gamble. So he came to Feyenoord and was a huge success. He even made it into the Italian squad, which wasnot that easy, given the competition. So what Mexican youth international winger fell out of grace and is now lying on the beach
Seems like it Apparently he updated his Instagram as it no longer lists him as a Chivas player. And I just saw that he won’t be with the NT for the upcoming two friendlies due to “injury”
As long as he stays in Spain after he completes his loan, he can get his passport at a relatively young age.
