I'll bet I can guess the local club coach. Oh, alright. Yeah. Uh, let's see. Um, well, we can throw out Nadir immediately. That's too obvious. He's not jumping his youth soccer gold mine. And no Harkes for this job, they are MYS nepotists. Alright, let's go deeper. Uh, what kind of coach are they looking for? Well, one that is, or was, an associate of Bramble. Bramble was once a portly fellow, a bit long in the waistband. So what's his pleasure? Is it a letter designated "coach" which all colleges crave? No no no no no, his is traditional. Oh he may stray with certain hires, but he'll always return to his dark master, the hard-nosed guy. No, and only the straightest shooter can satisfy him! One whom he has worked and lunched with in the past at cliniques. One who is not currently comfy waking up @ 10 to cash parental cheques. One who is in a state of flux, more or less between gigs. This figure is in position to assume risk...safe with the fallback credentials to return to the youth soccer nectar. In my estimation, thay call that finalist, men and gentleladies, Ramos.
Holmes, why are you on here with your useless drivel? I swear I feel dumber anytime I read a post of yours. Bramble is the one making the hire and George Mason will hire a female. And no matter who it is it will be better than Arizona’s hire.
EWU; https://goeags.com/news/2021/6/23/w...-named-next-ewu-head-womens-soccer-coach.aspx Way better than Arizona’s hire
didn't you notice the analysis of Bramble was the centerpiece of my dissertation? the o.p. mentioned a local youth coach as finalist (not the ultimate hire). What Bramble might be comfortable with and what the college cancel culture wants could be two different things. I've heard Loyola, HP, UMW, among many, applied. My guess is if any of these guys made it to finals, it'd be the first.
The reference is probably Loyola-Maryland. Speaking of Bimbi; he's done well the past few years. At one point I seriously thought that he was on his way out the door but he seems to have turned things around. Kristen Lawrence has not been the associate head coach at Loyola-Chicago since 2016, I think. That also seems to coincide with the time the program started improving. Some of her decisions on recruiting talent were questionable. I believe that Lawrence may still be at Loyola but not in a coaching capacity.
Good catch on Loyola Maryland. I guess I am just too busy living in my Midwest bubble. I always heard that Frankie was the reason for the uptick in success at Loyola. This past season obviously challenges that premise, but that was the word on the street.
I assume you are responding to a post by Holmes, which you do at your own risk. The worst troll on BS and great reason the "ignore" function was created. I actually think he's using multiple handles to post. Loyola, MD is lead by 2 male coaches and they are really just getting things started there and doing well. Highpoint has a female HC who was just Big South COY so a good guess, but Bramble has been around the SEC and ACC for years and is a US Soccer scout and knows tons of people. It will not be an Arizona- type hire, which is now a point of reference I guess. No idea if this is still true but Mason used to be known in previous years to not pay much, relative to cost of living there, and did not like big multi-year contracts. That could have changed.
What a blind, narrow vision you have, Eddiek. What an arrogant man you are, my dear. You fashion yourself a "dmv" soccer "insider" but nobody cares. Then ya make up junk like the Mason salary to...who cares why? "Just getting things started" at Loyola? Lol. Uh, returned hc has been there four, years. The AC, formerly AC to Morgan/UMCP and LSU, who interviewed at Mason, longer than that. He was passed over after what's her name bailed. I'll leave her name to ya to google, my dear. Uh, so ya think he might be interested in a HC after all that? Or is he "just getting things started" with, rebooting his career? get it?..reboot..boot...the ball? but instead, his career? He's a Bramble buddy, by the way. Who said anything about the HP hc?

you are reaching. If her marital status wasn’t an issue at Catholic Holy Cross order Notre Dame it’s sure as hell won’t be an issue at Oregon State where they offer a PhD in gender issues and women’s sexuality studies.
