In denial, of course. You've seen my posts these last, well, decades. My partner made a huuuge batch of perogies a while back. We still have a bag or so, vacuum sealed in the chest freezer. She really does not cooking (or, well, eating) Polish food, but she does a great job with it when she wants to do so. Her favorite Polish things to cook are kotlety mielone and kotlety schabowy and kopytka (Polish potato dumplings). Edit: an borscht. Not my favorite, but our friends rave about it.
Since my mom's side of the family is Polish, she makes all of the Polish favorites. I don't eat meat often so when she was making golumki last week she made me a batch with Impossible instead of her normal beef/pork mix. It was still tasty with the Impossible.
Awesome. I suspect using impossible "meat" would be great in things like that. She does not them for us, as I am not a fan of cabbage (although we just planted a bunch of cabbage in our new garden).
not to dwell on it any more since we are getting a new logo anyway, but when they were in the process of designing the crown crest, could it really have been that hard to not come up with this instead?
I think many of us would still have blasted that as boring, too blue, and nothing to do with the Fire. But it's still streets ahead of the monstrosity they picked. They probably could have slipped this by if they'd presented alongside the crown logo as "here are your choices, pick your fave!" like my brother did to get his 4 year old to put on socks.

I will not be surprised if the font used will be Comic Sans. Even BigSoccer is in -tune enough to know that its use is forbidden.
Meh+ from me. Like, I was at a Chicago Dogs baseball game a few weeks ago and this could be an alternate logo or sleeve patch for a “firefighter appreciate game” for them, but I mean, it’s maybe better than the current badge?
It's orders of magnitude better than our current logo and yet a giant pile of "f*cking blah" compared to where we came from. Maybe the kits will be neat but that logo doesn't inspire *hope*.....just relief from vomiting. It's an improvement, but it's not good.
Why don’t the fire go with a fan design? Make it a competition, winner gets season tickets for like 2 years. Problem solved. This team drives me Freaking INSANE.
