The Fire have been on International Break and will remain idle until June 19th. See Frankowski playing (or sitting on the bench) for Poland in Euro 2020* first game today (*yes, it's 2021, but last year really should not count!). Watch Gimenez slowly run aimlessly in Copa America for Paraguay, starting today!
If Poland would have started Frankowski, something stupid would have happened, it would have been a different stupid.
Quite a bit of stupidity in the Poland match- Goal keeper own goal Poland scores 30 seconds into the second half Idiotic, ticky-tack red card
So Paraguay has a chance in the tourney? He is on the roster: https://copaamerica.com/en/teams/paraguay https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_Copa_América_squads#Paraguay It looks like he did not make the squad for the tonight's game. We'll see if he rejoins the Fire this week.
Frankowski actually played a bit once Poland was down a goal and did...fair. he did not impact the game too much but to be honest all too often neither did most everyone else. Good seeing him get in though.
Hey gents, I have a question and really don't know where it belongs so I will just toss it here for now. Chicago Fire @ Nashville July 17. Being that I'm down the road now I was going to pop over to catch that game most probably however I'm wondering if there are any supporter busses going from Chicago as my two sons (in Chicago 19 and 23) are interested in going with me. They could drive obviously but if there's a supporter bus headed that way I'm sure the experience would be more immersive and memorable. Anyone know if things have returned and opened up to that point yet? https://nissanstadium.com/event/nashville-sc-vs-chicago-fire-fc-2021/
Draw on the road against the league leaders. And we were losing by two in the second half. Feels really good, but actually just pretty okay.
