its the position we could weather injuries. Still have Jorginho, Barella, Locatelli who will make up the best midfield 3 this tournament

I wanted Castrovilli on the final squad, he's definitely not a downgrade.

i agree.. i thought he was one of the best players on the pitch in the last friendly he played a week or so ago. He's got great raw technical ability and needs a move to a bigger club (than Fiorentina) to take that next step like Chiesa.

Verratti getting closer to returning. video posted by Alessandro Antinelli showing him working out separate from the group with Vialli.

Should be out vs Turkey but we may see him sooner than later.. possibly against Swiss on the bench.

    Hey Guys,
I've missed a lot of recent news regarding our national team due to university stuff but I am ready to get back on track with Euro 2021!!!! I have a few questions:

How big of a loss is Sensi and Pellegrini in your opinion? I haven't seen Sensi much this season but he looked like a very good player last season with Inter Milan, and I always thought that he had potential for a while. Pellegrini seems like a hard working player. Never thought he was a starting player but very good off the bench. I have no idea about their replacements as I haven't seen them play very closely. Were Pellegrini and Sensi ever gonna start though? I always thought our starting midfield would be Jorginho in the middle with Barella and Verratti as CMs if everyone is fit. Fill me in please.

Also, I have a question about a specific player: Federico Bernardeschi. How much playing time do you think he will get this tournament? Not a starting player I guess. He always seemed like a promising player a couple years ago, but according to posts, it seems he's been disappointing this season. I really hope he can play and perform well.

Also Berardi vs Chiesa. Who should start? I read that Berardi is expected to start tomorrow's game, but isn't Chiesa likely the more talented player? I know he's definitely faster. What do you think?

Guys, also which team would you say would win between these 2:

    Team A:
    -Pelle-Eder-
    -De Sciglio-Giacherinni-De Rossi-Parolo-Candreva-
    -Chiellini-Bonucci-Barzagli
    -Buffon-

    Team B:
    -Insigne-Immobile-Berardi-
    -Barella-Jorginho-Verratti-
    -Spinnazola-Chiellini-Bonucci-Florenzi
    -Donnarumma-
If these teams played against each other, who would win?

Julie Foudy and Tim Howard will be the ESPN studio analysts! Not sure if that is good or bad.

At least they are giving Italy praise....
