Perhaps Momiki is parting ways with Reign... and not OL :coffee:

What's the name of Ukrainian DF who made this surreal Red-Card-worthy foul in the UEFA Euro 2022 play-off match vs Northern Ireland? Will she play vs Japan? :cautious:

Both clubs are based in Kharkiv and have the same constructing company as sponsor. Beside that I don't know much more. Would Ukraine have had 2 UWCL spots it could be a problem I guess...

Yes, basically it's the effect of @Lechus7 jinxing me and pushing for Hasegawa to leave my town before I can meet her in person! :devilish:

Jokes apart, it's a fact that, while Boquete and Grimshaw already re-newed their contract with Milan AC, Hasegawa didn't yet. I hope they didn't dare to offer her a similar contract to the ones they offered to these two, because she's clearly of a different category and way younger than Boquete: if they did, she did well to decline.

But actually, I guess she's just considering her different options and biding her time, especially given that, unlike Boquete or Grimshaw or Giacinti or any other international at Milan AC she has an Olympic Tournament to play and her value could change after that, even skyrocket high should she post a very good performance and/or should Japan medal. So, basically it would be silly to negotiate a contract before being showcased at Olympic games and not after that, when her quotations will most likely raise up. So I doubt she will sign anything, with Milan or with anyone else, until the end of the Olympic Games.

Of course, if I am Milan I try to cover her with money and to build a team that could persuade her to stay to try the Champions' League experience in a known environment and as a solid starter (two things that could not necessarily be granted by Barça and PSG). In the end though, it can be impossible for Milan to compete if the offer is economically very relevant and if the feeling is that she would get, if not a starting place, at least a fair competition to get one.

Anyway, as we've seen in other cases, silly season rumours are silly season rumours: it's not a given that they're true. And even if they were, they could be part of some strategy to raise Hasegawa's price.

    Sanfrecce 0 - 1 INAC FT

Good match. Regina deserved the draw but INAC wasn't keen on making errors today. 4 wins in 4 games with 0 goals conceded, Leonessa message for an upcomming regular seson is strong. Sanfrecce - realative newcomers, look like emerging power in WE League - which isn't surprising looking at their men's position in J. League.

It is hard to know where Beleza are at, because they played some of their regular starters in slightly different positions. Kobayashi should be front and centre for them if they want any success in my opinion. Ueki, Endo and Kinoshita can play on the wings or in midfield, but leave Kobayashi as a forward.

But Sendai look good with the addition of Miyazawa, Yakata and Nagano. Nagano is class and it is good to see her back in the top flight playing for a good team.

Inac and Hiroshima probably need a striker. Inac definitely need a striker. Losing Iwabuchi was manageable, but with no Tanaka it is going to be tough for them to score a lot of goals. Narumiya looks like she is going to play in the hole, which will be good for them. She works so hard.

But I like watching Hiroshima. Lots of fun players and fun play. I think I will try and watch a lot of their games. Nakashima on the left was also very good today. She did a lot of good things. I hope she keeps it up! But if she plays on the left it means Yamaguchi will not start.
