Exactly. Madrid has so many options of value to Inter, PSG, etc that they would be capable of being suckered into.

We aren't even sure they have actually paid us. The reason their in trouble now is apparently financial negligence.

Our issue is what the hell our President is going to do. I have repeated this today and I'm nervous about that...

Guys, before talking about selling/buying players, I like to know your opinion on why we seem to suffer against lower half of table teams? we lost 4 times this season and all 4 against lower half teams. Curious to know why you guys think is the reason behind it?

They sit back 11 in their box and we have 0 attack other than Benzema.

If we get Mbappe (180-200 ME), we won't have much left to spend even with sales. Expect maybe Camavinga and Alaba for free if PSG sell Mbappe. We will have to cash in on Varane, Odegaard, Brahim etc. Isco, Marcelo etc are negative assets.

Marca reports that the agent of 23-year-old forward Lautaro Martinez has met with both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid to discuss a potential summer move. Internazionale would be loath to lose the Argentina international, but their economic situation could force a move. In the Spanish capital, Madrid see Martinez as a backup plan should they fail in their quest to sign Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland, while Luis Suarez has the option of leaving Atletico this summer and Los Rojiblancos are making alternate plans should their No. 9 indeed leave town.

This only makes sense if the deal is like Jovic + 30 ME.

Lautaro seems like such an Atleti player, tbh.

Could be the case, but if you look we scored the same number of goals as Atletico did. While I partially agree with you, but even 3-4 years back when we were a POWER HOUSE in Europe, we still struggled to win the league and if you look back, similar, always struggling against weaker teams, even when we had young CR and rest of the team was younger. I can not figure out why we struggle so much against weaker team.
Look at the past 20 years, how many La Liga we won how many CL !!!!

Le Parisien has reported that PSG have offered Mbappe two different deals. The first runs through to the summer of 2025 with a clause allowing him to leave in 2024. And the second offer sees an extension through to 2023 with permission to move on in 2022.

From 2009-16, it was also because Barca were too good though. We had seasons finishing second with 96 points (2009-10). Many years we finished 2nd with 90+ points.

We're just not that good anymore, and we are lucky that Barca isn't either. People don't want to admit it but the team needs a major overhaul, we can't just add Mbappe and think Modric and co. are going to shave a decade off their mileage.

We have to replace Benzema, Modric, Ramos. Marcelo, Isco, Asensio, Lucas Vasquez, Mariano and Hazard. That's a lot of turnover but the longer we wait the more difficult it will become. Even guys we can bring back like Odegaard and Jovic aren't a sure thing in the long run but we have to start somewhere.

He's clearly talking about the 17-18 season where we finished 3rd in La Liga with just 76 points.

    In:

    Mbappe or Haaland
    Camavinga (40 ME)
    Alaba
    Keep Arribas, Miguel and Blanco.
Re-sign Ramos and Lucas (back up RB)

    Out:

    Varane (60 ME)
    Isco
    Marcelo
    Asensio
    Jovic
    Mariano
    Brahim (35-40 ME)
    Mayoral (15 ME)
    Ceballos
    Vallejo

If Odegaard is sold, get Aouar.

I think the same. This narrative was started by YS about 3 weeks ago after Achraf gave that interview. I just don’t see how it happens. Even if Inter are not paying us they can find a suitor for him and sell to them and use the money to pay us. Maybe even make a tidy profit which they can use to pay their players lol.

I would love Achraf to come back but it’s not happening in my opinion. YS will be disappointed.

    Spot on. Great take.

Every summer this guys agent leaks stuff about a giant club buying him and that the deal is done. It’s all bs.

Yeah I know... can't say how nervous I am that Florentino is going to make some more really bad decisions which have dire consequences.

    Lucas (re-sign)

May seem like a lot of midfielders, but would like to see more of 4-3-1-2 next year, and a lot more rest to Casemiro and Modric.

I am for all the scenarios that include us signing Aouar. I was watching him play a few weeks ago and man we could use that kind of player and i don’t think he would cost that much.

But Vinicius Loan?? What would that achieve. He’s not lacking playing time.

Don’t we have first refusal though like we do with Reguilon?
