The match WILL be available on beIN Connect-4 today (Tuesday). beIN have also added the Friday night match (May 21st between 3rd Place & winner tonight) - also at 2:45pm ET. SA
Thanks! And kudos to BeIN for adding Ligue 2 coverage this season. I know this is a recurring topic of discussion on BigSoccer, but the quantity of soccer available in the US these days is absolutely mind blowing. The subscriptions can add up and there are issues that make some here unhappy (streaming delays, bad commentary, lack of replays, annoying tickers, etc.), but you'll get no complaints from me. We are so far ahead of where we were 20 or even 10 years ago--the 2020's are a great time to be a soccer fan in the US!
Not really big news of any sort but interesting: https://www.beinsports.com/us/copa-...rts-amazon-announce-collaboration-to-/1689490
[Twitter]Just received this from a person in the know: BeIn sports are in the early stages of negotiations to acquire the Portuguese league television rights in the USA. Great news for Tuga football lovers in the states if it happens !— Cristiano Oliveira (@10CO10) May 18, 2021
Cool. Would be nice to see a bunch of games available on connect. It will be interesting to see if they will do SAP in Portuguese as they do for Brazilian Libertadores games with Brazilian Portugues.
I thought Liga NOS is with GOL TV until 2023. But then again, after what transpired with La Liga and ESPN, I suppose nothing is really set in stone.
If Bein had a replacement in mind, it would make sense why they agreed to cut La Liga loose. If La Liga isn't going to get them DirecTV and Comcsst why spend so much money on it for such a low rate of return. Also do yall think Bein would try and grab the Spanish rights for Seria A soccer? Portuguese soccer anchoring the English Channel with Portuguese SAP option and Italian Soccer Spanish rights anchoring the Espanol channel

What I find odd about this (then again everything they do is odd) is that you can’t get connect on amazon fire. That would be great for me if it was added but maybe its in the works. I would love if Bein becomes the home of a bunch of niche leagues, Portuguese, Russian, Greek, etc in addition to French and Turkish. Espn+ will be great for leagues like Bundesliga and La Liga where I’m more likely to watch more of the matches per round. I actually hope Ligue 1 jumps to espn+ at some point as well. Leagues like Russia, Turkey, Portugal and Greece I’d likelu only catch 1-2 matches per round anyway.
Wonder if Bein will be dropped in HD on the providers it is left on ala GolTV back when La Liga overpaid for the La Liga rights to try and build their brand in the US. Not sure how hard the Qatar PR machine will be running internationally once the 2022 World Cup is over. Gol TV and Bein existing separately as niche content soccer channels doesn't make a lot of sense in my opinion. GolTV still has a footprint on tv providers Bein doesn't, and vice versa.
Spectrum has both Comcast has neither Dish has Bein DirecTV/UVerse have Gol in SD Fanatiz has both Sling has Bein
Ligue 2 playoff today: Toulouse vs. Grenoble, BeIN Connect 4, 2:35 EDT. Winner will play 18th place Ligue 1 team home (May 27) and away (May 30) for possible promotion.
Hopefully today is the last time I will ever have to go through 8 hoops to get my beIn app working to watch la liga. Tears in my eyes.
Not sure it's the same problem but for the past week or so, when I launch BeIN Connect on Roku, I get the "Activate device" message with a code to enter online. It used to be just once in a while, now it happens every time I turn it on. I don't know what's going on--it's just extremely annoying.
BeIN's coverage of decision day in France was pretty sub-par. Basically just showed the entire PSG match on both TV channels (I know they have streaming coverage of the Lille match, but still...).
Both legs of the Ligue-1 Playoff matchup between Toulouse & Nantes will be LIVE on the main beIN TV channel (English). That's this Thursday at 2:45pm ET & Sunday at 12:00pm ET. SA
Yes. Never had any problem loading BeIN Connect either on Roku or my Android devices (phone or tablet). I just have to go though the "Activate device" process every single time on Roku with a code to enter online. I guess I shouldn't complain too much if other people can't even access the service, but all this definitely points to issues one can only hope the tech folks at BeIN are aware of and working on.
I don't know. I watched on BeIN4 which showed a Redzone-type showing with the World Feed announcers and it was pretty good.
