It's the type of game that Arteta looks at when he asks why we can't always be more efficient with our shots. 3 on target, 3 goals, simply do that every match!

I'm running Peacock app on Roku which I notice is often behind my PC. Maybe it's a Roku thing.

But how about that post-match coverage that NBC gives us for the Peacock only matches? Or did I miss it? I did go to the bathroom for 1 min.

Sounds like Android (phone or TV) is the key factor. I wonder what they do that delivers the stream faster. The other guys should take notice.

It goes without saying that it sucks to be 1 min behind and then learn about the game clinching goal via this board well before my stream shows it.

I had an important meeting scheduled around kick-off. Turned on the match just in time to see Partey foul Zaha which led to the FK that Benteke scored on. Totally disgusted, I turned the match off. Now, I check the final score, and it appears I'm the Gooner jinx and should avoid watching matches for the forseeable future. At least I'll save me-self $5/mo in Peacock subscriptions.

It wasn't mentioned in previous match thread posts, but looked like Auba was the "defender" that kept Benteke onside.

Looks like an ugly win. But I do like to see a win nonetheless.

3rd in the league over the past 15 games with 27 points. Behind Man City (33) and Chelsea (31).

Buy your Arteta redemption arc stock now!

Are you up for the new conference league? Tottenham play Leicester and Everton play City. It has to be close to even money that Arsenal end up 7th and strange as it may seem if our other midfielder out on loan scores in the second half, Arsenal would still have a shot at 6th.

We need to throw the game on Sunday. Conference league would be a major dampener on our league chances next year.

Even if you say play the kids, we are still going to take half our first team squad out to Slovenia to play against their 3rd placed team, and lose 2 days of training and focus on the league.

Everton beating City to finish 7th with Arsenal 8th and sp*rs 9th wouldl be ideal. And it's not impossible, City are on the beach right now getting by Newcastle 4-3 and losing 3-2 to Brighton.

It would be nice to have regular Saturday league matches again too.

I'd rather send the kids on loan than have them play the occasional match against the Moldovan runners-up. Miss me with the whole Conference idea.

wait, did they really go with "negligible force" as the reason for no red on that?!?!?

1395092743861555201 is not a valid tweet id

EDIT: just watched it in video form and that shit was worse. that was way more intent than xhaka/westwood or pepe/aliosky.

oh, hell yes. i don't even care about whatever minimal money is there. these are great opportunities for the U23 kids who are still just shy of premier league games but could use actual competitive games to show us what we need to see. these are the games i want to see elneny and whoever is GK2 play to keep sharp. pepe has ended the season strong but it was the garbage euro games that allowed him to gain confidence and get some form.

the likes of aubameyang, saka, smith-rowe, tierney, gabriel, and leno should be nowhere near them.

You have to be crazy to want to play in the conference league, instead of having a full week between games to train, and lord knows this team needs all the time they can get on the training ground.

Sure some kids will be involved, but its not like we are sending the U23s and Steve Bould to face the mighty 3rd placed team in Macedonia. At least half of the first team will be making the trip and a lot will start.

Our path back to the top 6 starts us with being fresher and more prepared than our rivals. Getting some minutes for Azeez and Balogun is not worth the disruption to the rest of our season.

If I was Arteta and in the Conference League, I would 100% send Steve Bould and the U23's and not send a single first team player unless that player is going to be on the bench for the next league match and needs to play for fitness.

The Conference League should be treated with all the respect and deference that it has earned dating back to its establishment in the summer of 2021.

This is why I have no faith in Arteta.

The talent on this team is Saka>>>>>>>>ESR, Tierney>>>many people>>>>Willian

True, but Saka is also dead tired because he's a teenager who we've asked to play 3,600 minutes this season.

I’m getting more and more convinced by the Rosicky comparison. It takes him so few touches to just fly past defenders. I might even hazard a guess that he isn’t actually all that fast, he just instinctively knows how to use hesitation and acceleration so well.

And his touch on the run is fvcking chef’s kiss.

Props to Leno for keeping us in this one. I had some pains seeing EMI almost single-handedly (pun intended) help AVFC win vs Spuds today. But on comparison, Bernd remains a key component of our defense and much-improved goals allowed difference over previous seasons.

I was completely convinced after Welbz scored against Wet Spam the other day that we were actually going to finish sixth. How sick am I? :ROFLMAO:

Now we are going to finish 7th…the worst 7th ever.

Take a dive, Mikel! Take a dive!
