18 minutes in and I've got to go to work.

I'll not know the result for another four hours. 0-0 as I head out.

It stayed 0-0 we just aren't good enough. Cardiff will eat us for breakfast.

Lewis Wing (on loan from Middlesbrough) with an absolute wonder goal, hopefully we can hold on because we've not exactly been in fine scoring form recently.

Comment from an Owl saying that Rotherham have been all over 'em, but wasteful. That true, Myshoe?

Yeah we could be a few goals up but that's been our problem over the last half a dozen games or so, not taking our chances. That's why I think if Cardiff equalise we'll be as good as down. It'd be just typical of us to miss a bunch of chances to make it 2-0 and then concede a late equaliser.

Sounds as though Cardiff are putting in the same kind of effort they've shown against Wednesday; in which case you're home.

One moment of quality could still sink us though as it has so often this season.

Cardiff should have been dead and buried at half time, a lack of quality in finishing has sent us down. It's not just this match either.

It's disappointing but we deserve it with recent performances, today we played well but with all of the missed chances you could see a tragic late equaliser coming a mile off. It took a wonder goal from a player who will now be returning to his parent club for us to be winning in the first place.

Rough day. Highly exciting, but the absolute perfectly wrong results. In some ways I even feel a bit more for Rotherham than for Wednesday. Of the three, I think they showed the most courage down the stretch. I'd rather be done in by poor finishing than pure gutlessness, which Derby and Wednesday displayed in spades (even if not today). The only ones that might have deserved to stay up more were Wycombe.

But - and for about the zillionth time - if we're honest, the only truly deserved result would be if all four could have gone down.

At least I didn't have to work today.

23rd. Probably deserved to be a little higher up.

@pookspur is correct, you deserved better.

At least we'll be in the same forum again. :p

Rumors circulating that Warne has met with Tony Stewart and claims that he's mentally exhausted and that he wants out. Stewart is supposedly trying to figure out a way to keep him in, but Warne resistant.

Nothing more than a repeating a message board post, if I'm honest; but thought I'd throw it out there.

Clark Robertson, currently on 7k(bps)/wk and out of contract come July, has apparently turned down an extension at 8.5k/wk, wanting to Rotherham to match the (ridiculously overpaid) Hirst's 11k/wk. Pompey said to be willing to splash that, and looking likely to be his destination.

F*ck me ... folks can spend a whole lot of time bitching about the 'Premier League' structure, and the financial doping of the big clubs, and how their insidious greed is destroying the foundations of the English game - all fair enough - but if 3rd tier clubs are tossing 11k per week at centerbacks with no sell on potential, I'm not sure how pointing fingers at the big boys is supposed to help. It's no mystery why the situation's so grave.
