    Definitely an incredible, abdominal fighting spirit till the bitter end, but perhaps a little to clever for its own good;
they needed to be a bit more cynical like Laudehr did in the first game, making professional fouls at midfield thus slowing down Chelsea’s run n gun style just a bit(but this time Laudehr didn’t start). Instead they gave away desperation fouls outside the pk lines which twice were turned into goals. And then what was stupid defensive set up with Bereensteyn lying on the ground behind the wall? Was she suppose to get up in time to block an 100 mile per hour shot?

and those counters; just one too many passes at the end instead of more swifter individual runs, as Chelsea was able to bring ‘hordes of defenders’ back to block the final shots taken/as all ready mentioned; their slow poke defender, Millie Bright, was beatable, if challenged 1v1(which BM obviously didn’t bother doing)

But it’s not all bad; Chelsea only won because it bought all that superior talent(thus even their basic run n gun tactics will suffice). If only BM would spend the same type of money in their woso squad, they would of had still the likes of Miedema & Leupolz. Same can be said if only WOB/Harder wouldn’t be playing for Chelsea.
And notice at the other semi, it was two former Bundi players; Martens & Harder, that got Barca’s win. So it’s still the best league in the world as fertile training grounds in terms of learning & growing as an player

when will the insanity ever end:mad: to go along with the 30 something semi big names they all ready got, WOB signs........... So they all ready got an B team that plays in the Bundi 2nd division, are they possibly be able to register squad to play in the Dutch League? (they already got 5 of them & counting)

It is understandable that she wants to play in a better league and she had played for Twente with Tommy Stroot as coach. Will the Dutch fans here show more interest in the Bundesliga next season?

2.Bundesliga Nord leader Gütersloh didn`t apply for a license for the 1.Bundesliga. The team was informed yesterday:speechless: despite the deadline for the application was the 15th March. Now Jena has the best chances (7 points ahead of Leipzig and Bocholt).

highlights below from the catch up game between Frankfurt & Essen. Interesting that Essen has Feldkamp playing the lone striker/#9 spot whereas MVT debuted her just recently as an CB. Their one scorer, Sterner only 18 years old(same age as last game's scorer, Wamser).
Frankfurt always fun to watch due to its American style fwd, Freigang. but as usual with highlights, we don't get to see anything from what I think will be future star, 17 year old FB, Kuver.

btw...........the big Bayern/Wolfsburg game coming up this Sunday will be shown on the subscription site, Magenta, which unfortnuately means no live or even full game replays on youtube(as they police it quite thoroughly for copyright infringements)

problem is it might be geo blocked(and again, usually Magenta makes sure it don't get shown on youtube)

The big news today is Anyomi move will from Essen to Frankfurt for next season(though she hasn't been seen for the longest time in an Essen uniform)

Looks like Koln is on it's way back to 1st division. If we remember last summer, the club invested a little more on woso, bought some decent veterans only to find out it's 11th place finish means it got relegated to 2nd div. Noticing the lineup from their last match missing a few names; Lotzen, Beckmann, Tietge......wonder what happened to them?

I`m sure I have written in the National team thread about Lotzen`s retirement. Beckmann has a muscle ligament tear and Tietge has a cartilage damage.

All desperate attempts by Hoffenheim were unsuccessful. Only 0:0 against Sand.

Anja Mittag is player-coach at Leipzig, right? Would be cool if she could win promotion to 1.Bundesliga, but seven points up might be a few too many at this stage of the season.

She is individual coach for the offensive players and also works as scout and makes game analysis. Katja Greulich is the head coach. On Sunday they play in Bielefeld so hopefully they will lose.:D

In other news: Frankfurt has a positive covid-19 test and their game in Potsdam was cancelled. I hope they haven`t to go into quarantine.

No, we have a rate of 32,3% first vaccinations in Germany and footballers are no priority group.

here's an rendition what Frankfurt migh look like next season, if those tranfer rumours do hold up. Whoever posted this must be Austrian, because he/she keeps Feiersinger & Dunst in the lineup as central mids, even though they play ouside/wingers on the squad. Their niftly dribblers are a bit average pace wise & hold back the speed burning Freigang, lets just say;not an good combinatio. Besides not having Nuskins & Kuver in thestatting lineup is insane! Otherwise the new wingers, Rolfo & Anyomi will complement Freigang very well/Goessling still got some legs on her! Look for Frankfurt to make plenty noise next season!

It’s working on NDR, no Popp today for Wolfsburg, perhaps nursing an injury?/no wonder she looked so terrible vs Norway, lol

with Hendrich out as well for WOB, it’s Bayern’s game to loose, but they decidedly, unwisely perhaps, not to start Schuller & Dallmann.....so hmn
