Nope. Not in the least. And I’m sure Tesho received the highest marks possible. Great family. When Tesho was in high school, his family lived down the street from me in Thornton. Although..... I mad at his Dad. He made a horrible call in the last minute of a President Cup Group match against my team last weekend. It cost us big time! After the match, I think he was thinking I was going to ream his ass, instead I just asked him how Tesho was doing, how good he thinks Orlando will be, and said I’m always rooting for Tesho. We laughed and had a quick little 5 minute catch-up chat. Tesho and the whole family are so humble and kind. Always rooted so hard for him and hope one day he can wear the burgundy kit.

Hey, I will be there this Saturday because my son's High School team (Fairview HS) is in the state the finals on Saturday!! Can't wait. Both for the game and too see that stadium.
Nice, I'd be curious what you think. Their previous stadium was pretty poor (but fun) but this looks like a showcase for the USL.
The stadium is a real beauty. Cool neighborhood for it too. I definitely get back there, but perhaps after the road work on I-25 is done. Do one of the colleges play there as well? By the way, Fairview won! State champs, woohoo! A thrill for my boy in his COVIID dominated senior year. And my last youth type soccer game as a parent!
As a Rapids fan who lived in the Springs, I know the joy of I-25 well, especially the point south of Castle Rock where the lanes narrow! Unsure if the colleges play there but with the stadium on the West side, I imagine CC and UCCS will start playing there. Congrats to Fairview!
I haven't heard anything about either college playing at the Switchbacks stadium. TBH I doubt if either will, since both have adequate places to play on campus. I heard last year that the DII championships would be here this December. Don't know if that has changed.

Perhaps one of the best interactions between a sports team and a fan: For those that don't know, Twitter user BuckArmy was the Rapids first eMLS player. They were doing a signed jersey giveaway to a random follower of his, so I gave him a follow a couple years back and never unfollowed. Turns out this was a good idea.... Well, the DBacks took it a step further and not only did they end up on TV, but they got gameballs, shown on the jumbotron, and now millions of people nationwide have gotten to join in on the fun that was had. The back and forth on Twitter was absolutely hilarious and I would definitely recommend anyone go and read the whole thing. They do. CC's teams play in what used to be the carryball stadium. UCCS has a small stadium off Nevada. I've coached a few youth matches there.

If they would have come up with a really good crest, people would've been able to live with it. If they would have just kept the Crew name, people would've been able to live with it. It had to be one or both. The fact they accomplished neither, and actually paid someone monetary compensation for, and later approved, such an ugly, confused, and soulless logo is impressive.
