Heung-min Son in tears at full-time pic.twitter.com/e5mm6VPSkO— Football Daily (@footballdaily) April 25, 2021 Bordering on bizarre now
did not get to watch the full match but did they even put up a fight or did they revert to Jose football?
No did not watch either. I just meant, they were in the final. No one expected them to win. But to bad he puts up such a sucky performance.
I watched the whole fking match and I regret it. The 2nd half was a bit more entertaining but the 1st half was pretty much a defense game for Spurs. Son was just awful today.
Son had an awful game especially with missing passes. But watching mahrez and sterling get so many good shooting opportunities made me wonder how many goals Son would bag if he were on a team like man city.
Hard to make passes when you had no one to pass it to. Unfortunately, the team didn't have much of a plan other than to sit deep and wait for a miracle. All this is way over Mason's head. When Kane/Son leaves, this team will be battling for a relegation spot. https://www.redcafe.net/threads/fao-tottenham-hotspur-fighting-cock-goes-into-meltdown.461927/page-6
Last two years under Jose has totally devastated this squad. You have professional players who can't even string simple passes together. It's as if they didn't even go through simple passing drills. I would like to know what they even practiced on the training ground.
How Winks has survived this long is beyond comprehension. Analysis of Spurs in the cup final. No courage at all & that is down to the players not the manager. #Spurs #CarabaoCupFinal pic.twitter.com/3J9es9bxeH— Jamie Carragher (@Carra23) April 26, 2021
Do you believe Spurs rejected Ten Haag? Spurs are done. Son would be insane to resign with this club. They are lucky to finish top ten.
I know it was against Sheffield, but where was this type of football under Jose? No doubt Mourinho would have parked the bus in the 2nd half.
This team wouldn’t have problem finishing top 4 if it wasn’t for Jose. Could have done it last year with a right coach. Levy lost this team two years. He’s such a shit.
Dele actually helped open up the game a bunch. Son was unplayable yesterday, even if it was against a bad team, we've looked horrid vs bad teams this season... Just don't know the future of this club though--I feel that any manager at this point will be disappointing (3rd, 4th, 5th choice :/)
Tottenham got insane value with Kane (homegrown) and Son (bargain price for a world-class superstar), plus a great relatively unknown manager in Poch. It's hard to get lucky like that again, and unless you're willing to spend like the top teams, Spurs are not going to be able to keep up.
