I wish Reynolds could do better preventing those crosses.

So far he looks more engaged immediately than last week. He's made a few good plays and not picked up some wide players that seem to be his guys. I think he will need a few more games to understand all of his defensive responsibilities but it speaks volumes that he's now started two games in a row.

Believe he had a terrible giveaway close to his goal that resulted in a very good chance. Otherwise not much to say about his game.

Ok, well that turnover from Pedro will make sure everyone forgets about Brian’s. Damn. Roma really playing with fire.

Roma is getting dominated by Torino. Reynolds has failed to close space on a few dangerous crosses that have almost lead to goals.

Pedro is a very selfish player.

We all know Reynolds is a work-in-progress. We just want to see improvement from game to game.
He needs to know when to pass down the line when he gets the ball and when to look for the inside teammate. And of course, prevent crosses when possible.

That interception and sprint at min 65 was the first time he looked explosive like he did in mls. That was good to see.

He's clearly not ready for this level yet and that's fine, there aren't a lot of 19yo playing in Italy, especially defenders. Just don't want it to hurt his confidence.

And his game is done. 74 minutes for this game.

3rd appearance for Roma. Very good achievement!

however, this should be his last for this season. He’s not anywhere close to ready for this level. He looks so incredibly scared it’s palpable. His game is his explosion and crossing, which he hasn’t shown.

train hard. Watch how your team plays. Get ready for a good pre season this summer and let’s reevaluate in August.

Depending on what Roma does with their wingbacks/manager this summer I wouldn’t be shocked to see Reynolds sent out on loan. It doesn’t indicate anything on his potential staying power with a big European club, but minutes every week would seem beneficial to him at this point. He’s never been more than anonymous or subpar for Roma with any appearance so far.

He's getting minutes every week now, but I guess we'll see how it plays out from here.

not from what I am reading. They like him and think he will be the solution to the aging player in front of him. Which means he will continue to play in the reserve role and start after a Europa game. The sky is always falling on BS unless it isn’t.

hes getting minutes because they are resting players/have injuries. Not because he is earning them. *for the record I am an American too and want him to succeed. Bruno Peres is the 2nd choice right back, but can also play left back. Calafiori is a kid from their academy who probably is their future left back if he can stay healthy.

Bruno is out of contract this summer but I’d be shocked if he doesn’t come back due to his versatility.

the player in front of him is 25 year old Rick Karsdorp who just signed an extension.

Oh please enough with the dour stuff, it just slides from one yank to another. This week it must be Reynolds turn. The skys the limit, it doesn’t have to be the expectation.

It's a tricky situation. He hasn't impressed and Roma's regular season is circling the drain. Fonseca probably gets sacked. Reynolds may not be with Roma next season.

The overwhelmingly negative tone of this post probably means that he had an average game.

Posters should probably watch the games , or they run a risk of making dumb posts.
