Chelsea need to be braver with their long passes. They always hesitate and then pass it short.

 

Porto are simply hacking Pulisic every time he touches the ball, while Mount and Kai just aren't getting on the ball enough.

It's effective defense.

Yea well, Chelsea fullbacks have a propensity to put him in situations where he receives the ball running into 3 defenders. They seem to think that's a good thing

 

I'm honestly questioning my choice of watching Pulisic over Munich-PSG

 

Considering Chelsea are trying to scrape out a draw and/or single goal and kill this thing, and not do an all out attack, I think CP played well. He held into the ball for the most part and drew time-killing fouls.

that said, please remind me to not check the Twitter cesspool at half-time for comments/opinions. That would spare me from the brilliant first half analysis from some fans that says things like “Pulisic is ass,” “Pulisic has no first touch” and “Replace CP with Werner or CHO at half.” The latter opinions must have an agenda for their favorite player, of course.
