I will be amazed if Krejci finishes this match... I'm amazed anytime Krejci finishes a match.

I think if he played in defence it would force him to tone it down, but as a midfielder he’s now developed this Soucek type scoring ability, so tough to decide where he’s best suited.

Holes must’ve realized that Krejci II is making a strong case for that back up CDM position for Silhavy. That’s another roster spot battle to lookout for ahead of the Euros.

I don't know, even when he played CB he was a walking yellow card. He's talented but nobody has ever managed to coach the reckless streak out of him.

It’s not so much the yellow cards that bother me, especially in a position and role that usually requires them at times. It’s that reckless play you mentioned that’s the issue. The flaring elbows, excessive lunging, and overall needless contact is what he needs to stop.

I mean, Soucek gets his fair share of yellow cards, but does so in a much more natural manner and is far more disciplined.

Celustka might need to start wearing one too if he wants to keep his hair under control. That hair tie is having a difficult day.

Karabec would be ideal to bring on if he were available.

Vitik is very raw and will still make mistakes in his young career, but there’s so much potential there, more so than Zima in my opinion.

Clearly betting against Slavia is a bad idea and should’ve probably known by now. This surely secures the title now. Now time to add a Europa League trophy?

I am not really surprised they won, but am amazed how even with squad rotation they just sort of dominated most of the match. The goal right before halftime just seems to have killed Sparta's belief.

Sounds like UEFA is finally making rulings on that unrelenting assault on fairplay and human decency that was Slavia vs Rangers.

Kemar Roofe receives 4 match ban for his challenge on Kolar... this is lenient for sure (could have easily been 8-10 matches) but not so much that I would say ridiculous. It was an incredibly clumsy challenge that could have done even more damage than a sinus fracture, but despite what the enraged Slavia fan bubble seem to think Roofe wasn't subbed in specifically to kill their keeper.

Rangers FC will be fined 9000 Euros for team wide violent conduct... that is the kind of nothing that makes people hate UEFA

Ondrej Kudela will receive a 10 match ban for making a racist statement to Kamara. I always believed Kamara's side of the story base on the match video, but I hope that the ruling also sufficient proof to make Tvrdik backtrack and take action from the club side as well.

Kamara will receive a 3 match ban for going after Kudela in the tunnel post match, fair, but considering this circumstances hope he at least landed a decent punch or two.

I am pretty quick to accuse UEFA of not taking things seriously, especially in Europa League, but the more I think about it this is close to fair.

I think Roofe warranted a slightly larger ban, and Rangers also a larger fine.

I also think Slavia as a club should have been fined or punished for their reaction to the initial accusation, even if it would have been something trivial like the Rangers fine.

I totally agree. I felt Roofe probably deserved a few more games, but I wonder if the fact that Kolar has already returned to play contributed to that final ruling.

I don’t agree with the notion that Kudela’s punishment is too lenient. When you actually consider his age and situation, it’s quite harsh (though deserved). He will miss out on a possibly historic Europa League run for his club and is denied his only chance to represent his country at a major tournament.

For everyone that’s saying he needed to receive a greater ban, they need to consider past punishments from UEFA in similar situations. There was always the possibility he’d receive much less than this (I expected less myself), so I take this as somewhat a step in the right direction.

In other words, a 10 match ban is basically the best anyone could’ve realistically hoped for, and it happened. End of story.

FC Slovacko, the little club that could, received a license from the FA to open a proper Academy with additional financial support from the FA and regional government. This could be a big boost to youth development in Zlinsky Kraj and Moravian Slovacko.

Obviously their current top 4 league standing deservedly draws the most attention, but Slovacko actually have a fairly impressive list of recent accomplishments in youth (Slovacko II was dominating MSFL when amature sports were halted) and women's football (they became the only team besides Sparta and Slavia to provide professional contracts for women's players).

Ondrej Kolar might have injured his shoulder in a pre-match training session.

Kolar is thankfully able to start, though probably loaded up with cortisone shots like the rest of his teammates at this point.

Kuchta returns to the centre forward position and Sevcik slots in at the right wing spot. Sima is on the bench and I assume is not fully fit to start.

I think Olayinka and Sima are both a bit off full fitness so the plan was one to play each half.

It's good to see Sevcik back, but it just feels like we are running out of depth.

Well this is already over, I was right, we are missing way too much to keep up the schedule.

Zbrojovka did everything but get a result once again against Pardubice. We equalized (in a match we were the better team in for most of) then conceded a 2nd goal. Its realistically between us and Teplice for the last survival.

I was absent for the Slavia match... all I can say to all their fans screaming about UEFA Mafia is that your team lost because you had no depth for a busy stretch, and you had distractions and no depth because a 34-year-old defender decided with a 2 goal lead and an opponent playing with 9 men to conspicuously whisper a slur in an opponents ear. You lost that way entirely because of Kudela's stupidity, and yet half of them still defend him.

I think this was a very successful season (on the field) for Slavia yet again. Of course, the Kudela - Kamara incident casts a dark cloud over the team and rightfully so for how the club initially reacted.

Also, the fact that they imploded and lost the tie in a matter of minutes to Arsenal made it seem worse in the moment, but considering how we felt about this squad after the Midtjylland defeat, it’s quite impressive what they accomplished this season.

The emergence of hidden gems such as Zima, Provod, and Sima is incredible and will certainly be very profitable. Even guys like Holes and Kuchta, who seemed like average league players at best, became European caliber to some degree.

I think those most likely to leave this summer would be Olayinka and Stanciu, possibly Provod if he does well at the Euros. I think Zima and Sima will remain for now, but if a ridiculous offer is made (most likely for the latter), they should probably just accept it.
