I think he played the best lineup possible but it was clear after 1 half that it wasn’t a game for Lozano or Mertens
Milan could drop out of the top four. Against Juventus and Atalanta they could potentially shave 4 to 6 points from their final standing. Further points could be dropped to Lazio. They look the most vulnerable of the current top four. Juventus too are all over the place. The loss to Porto says it all. Cristiano's angry reaction despite the win on the weekend also shows how fractious things have become inside the club. Can Juventus miss a top four place? It was unimaginable at the start of the season and I still doubt that it would happen. Napoli's hopes I think hang on Milan collapsing. As for Napoli, the loss to Inter earlier in the season was bad luck more than anything. It will take a lot out of Napoli to win that game though, but they will give Inter more of a contest. Four days later to Lazio and then four days after that to Torino is where things can prove their most challenging. If Napoli can manager 7 to 9 points out of those three games, Napoli will be well poised for a top four finish.
It’s too close to call right now. I find it very hard to make a prediction on top 4. We are going to run into very desperate teams in the last stretch of the season (Torino, Spezia, Cagliari) This Napoli Inter game this weekend has draw written all over it
I think we have a chance. We have been playing well for years now, the most highlighted team out of the multitude of Juve chasers. This factor often comes in, especially in those games where the opponent is suddenly in the 1st place but hadn't been there for a long time. We should be even more motivated, as we had aimed for the highest spots before we lost the chance due to various problems, so I doubt motivation will be lacking in our team. In fact, I think it will be over the top. Inter, on the other hand, have a comfortable lead, and now they are about to face a team they beat once already this season, which is always tough to repeat under the circumstances stated above.
Inter win games playing like shit. This is the mark of a typical scudetto winner. Juventus have done this for 9 years.
Gattuso prepared the team well, it's not his fault that we have been terrible at set pieces for millions of years. Still, we need to step it up in the second half, if not, we can lose this game.
Where are the fans? Have you lost interest in football? This is like the biggest game of the year, and there are no posts...
Inter plug the middle up, making it suffocating. Not many teams ever look good against them. Have to open them up.
Yeah, they are criticized for their style that relies on counterattacks. So far, it hasn't done them any good in this match, this is the worst case scenario for them. We have to spread them apart and make them desperate.
