For sure. I was watching that game and neither of those teams were that impressive. Ukraine was better but not by much. I am quite surprised that France couldn't beat them..This means now that if the game plan is executed properly(proper defending instead of what we saw vs Finland), we should be gunning for a tie or better against France. Of course with our mentality it will probably be more like 'lets try not to lose by many goals'.
Ukraine weren't impressive but let's be fair they totally gifted Finland this draw. On a normal day, the two defensive blunders that led to the penalty and the equaliser is something you wouldn't see even in a Premijer Liga game. The reality is that this is an extremely open group where almost virtually anybody can take points off of anybody as the games have shown us thus far and as the next games will inevitably show. That's why any analysis by pundits and pseudo-strucnjaci already predicting what will happen by November and getting into these deep calculations is bullshit and a distraction we could do without. With all of that being said, I hope the coaching staff are taking notes (I hope but I don't think they are). The two crucial games in my opinion are the away fixtures in Kazakhstan and Ukraine in October. Anything less than at least 4 points from these two games and we can pretty much forget about finishing second.

I'm listening to some British broadcast and it's almost like these guys are cheering for France. Apparently none of their offsides were offsides and they are dominating even though i don't think they've done much(and neither have we aside from that one chance but it's not really that one sided game).
Yeah i'm happy so far with everything. Nice ball control especially. Will be hard to score with not enough support forward.

I'm concerned they won't be able to maintain a similar level and will start to fall off around the 60th minute. Like what I've seen so far from them in terms of effort
Yeah with Balkan teams especially we tend to not have a whole lot of stamina so we'll get worse for sure. Not like we have great bench replacements, otherwise it wouldn't be a huge deal. Right now they should keep it going this way and try to get one in the 2nd(by being slightly more aggressive forward) because yeah it'll be hard to maintain this momentum.
As for Pjanic, he's same Pjanic as always imo..Not amazing at anything but can once in awhile show a great play. We don't have better so..
Pretty solid first half. The 5-3-2 just suits this group of players much more. A draw would be a great result.
