Very good lineup except fonte It’s weird though how palinha doesn’t get a chance. Neves is not that good in my opinion. Slow and somewhat of a lazy player with no heart. The opposition is weak today so it won’t be very noticeable the way he keeps changing the midfield every game is concerning though. Kinda shows he has no clue what he’s doing in terms of a set stsrting 11.
I definitely think it was wise to leave some strength down at the U21’s for this round of matches, especially considering the u21’s are in an actual finals tournament. The senior team shouldn’t need to depend on that sort of youth for qualification.
From an unbiased/unemotional perspective, theses 23 minutes have definitely been the worst Felix has looked for the NT. Also, with at least one shot directed at goal, Luxembourg has a higher expected goal percentage after 23 mins.
Perfect example there of why we play worse with Ronaldo. At city cancelo woulda shot that himself but he feels forced to give it to Ronaldo now Luxembourg up. Embarsssing
On the bright side, the confidence that Mendes is already showing at international level is remarkable.
This is officially the worst qualifying we've had since the 90's but most likely worse than anything since the 80's with our most expensive team ever. Too many "stars"

I can’t even blame juventus anymore for Ronaldo’s performances. He is clearly done. He may still get us goals but he cannot dribble or create chances at all
