Next two postponed due to positive virus tests. Rotherham's games against Brentford and Luton postponed after coronavirus outbreak at Yorkshire club | Football News | Sky Sports
3 games a week for the rest of the season, easy peazy. We just need to hope Birmingham carry on losing so we don't have a massive gap to close, it could get overwhelming.
We'll probably beat them and still get relegated if that's any help? I'm not even sure if we'll manage to complete the season, if we have any more matches postponed it's going to be difficult to even fulfill our fixtures. What happens then?
Yeah this one is hard to call because you lot, Coventry, and Brum are close in points. I wish Brum and Coventry would just completely tank it and relieve both of us! lol
Paul Warne won't be there though, coaching staff are taking over. I'm still trying to work out how professional athletes can test positive but be considered right as rain to perform at peak leavels 10 days later, last I checked isolation is meant to contain spread not a cure you of all symptoms. Surely either tests are dodgy or immunity is more widespread than thought?
Now all of the coaching staff is in isolation, Richard Wood is basically managing the squad at this point. Bad feeling about tonight.
Football League statement on testing: https://www.themillers.co.uk/news/2021/march/read--efl-statement-covid-19-test-results-17-03-21/ 72 clubs tested, 71 clubs totally clear, 25 positive results returned. So basically our entire club tested must have tested positive but we were deemed able to play against Watford? Can anyone work this **** out? We probably only have about 10-15 non-footballing staff.
Birmingham and Coventy and likely a few others suddenly feeling rather worried again. Well having half the squad test positive doesn't seem to have affected fitness at all.
Our next 5 fixtures: Millwall Wycombe Huddersfield QPR Birmingham I wouldn't take any match in this division for granted but if we don't get a decent points haul out of those then we will deserve to be in League One and please don't lose to Birmingham whatever happens.
The Coventry match has now been squeezed in before Birmingham, so we'll have two back-to-back 6-pointers in the space of 72hours. Those will be a big 2 games for everyone at the foot of the table. April 2nd Millwall 5th Wycombe 10th Huddersfield 13th QPR 15th Coventry 18th Birmingham I would expect players to be rested against QPR.
