Ok I thought about it a little more. I think the player who really came to mind who Mix plays like is Santiago Solari, of Argentina, Real Madrid, Inter. He played in Liga MX as well. Silky midfielder with an eye for goal and a little bit of bite in the tackle. He could hit a cross and turn a trick. But he was best when he had the ball on the floor playing through the midfield lines vertically.

Well, 13 games left in the season now, and only 3 points (or 2 points pluss goal difference) up to "safe spot", so I think it is a little early to proclaim that we're done, ........yet. You might end up right in a few months of course, but to say our chances are most likely gone is not yet a fair statement to make. I was brought down here in an attempt to avoid relegation, and so far I feel we are on track to attain that ..... achievement. At least, I still enjoy the challenge of it, and hope some of you might appreciate it too. Here, today's mind twister for you: In Denizlispor, of players, I have, or have had, some teammates that I previously have met during my games for the USMNT or any other USSOCCER team. How many, and who, and where? (Wild guesses is ok)
Looking at the squad, there are a reasonable number of guys who were or are regulars for their national team. I'd guess the possible range is 2-5 at senior level and...1-3 at youth level. My 47 seconds of Wikipedia-ing guess is 3. But then there are semantics -- is "met" meaning played against, or were introduced to, or were in the same stadium as? Grabbed a coffee with? If someone was on the bench or injured but with their team at the same match and you were similarly playing/benched/injured does that count? Either way I'm sticking with 3.
I was gonna say Rodallega for Colombia when we played them at Craven Cottage in 2014, but he didn’t play that day. Mix did, and apparently he had a mustache.
https://www.transfermarkt.com/spielbericht/index/spielbericht/2528447 there's this game vs Chile in 2015 where you and Ángelo Sagal both played, although you'd already subbed out by the time he subbed in. I'm sure there are some sneaky cases of someone switching countries or being allowed to play for a new federation (i.e. Kosovo) or transfermarkt having the wrong data, but that's all I could find. Someone has probably built a graph system to map players and their intersections that would make this really easy. And if not, that would be a fun little project...but having looked again, I've found 1 case that fits the criteria and I really feel like I'm missing another most likely, so I'm revising my guess down to 2.
You guys are good. I will respond and offer some content to the correct answer(s) between my next two games. In the meantime....... Did you know that, on the international arena, back in the days, I was selected to play against a team from USSOCCER, and did. (I just didn't know I was about to, at the time I accepted). Of the people I playd with and against that day, who would you rather have been, or followed, based upon what the rest of their careers and travels revealed? And then... give me a few questions to solve, based on input from your lives and your awkward or cherished experiences? Related, or totally not, to football, but definitely to laughter and fun. Enlighten me and others with stories that otherwise might risk to be lost cause your alternative audience(s) is not a viable option)
Mix started and went 78 minutes today. Came out down 1-0 and down a man as manager put on a striker in his place - nice aggressive sub - but they conceded a late penalty and lost 2-0.

Mix starts vs Kasimpasa, a mid-table side. Need to get three in a match soon to get out of last place and give themselves a fighting chance.
