Dio definitely isn't easy to replace (except for how often he was unavailable...), I would compare Baird to Chris Mueller, so not really a no. 9 but who knows how the staff plans to use him. I personally see him as more of a BRod-lite.
My rep was Rebecca and then I think she got promoted and now I couldn't tell you who it is. I would have liked more communication about the payments getting rolled into 2021 and I'm sure we'll hear more when decisions are made about gans coming back... overall I got answers very fast from Rebecca, but haven't had many questions since we were notified that there would be no fans in the stands last season. Wouldn't be surprised if front office staff is alot smaller now as a consequence of the lost revenue.
Same. All my good ones were promoted. Lol Thanks for answering. I was just curious if anyone had the same experience I was having. I was not sure if this was the thread to ask. Sorry for hijacking, guys!
Austin FC on opening day, another expansion side like Miami last year. Hopefully this means we can get some points and qualify for US Open Cup (top 8 MLS teams after 3 games qualify direct to Round of 16). Would be an excellent opportunity for our first knockout tournament trophy...
I'm an original STH. Southside right at the bottom of the top section. Also trying to get those seats for Angel City.
Heading into the 2021 season with a core group intact plus a few key additions, is this LAFC's year? https://www.mlssoccer.com/news/lafc-2021-season-preview
In the preseason Baird was starting up top with Vela and Rossi. Moon doesn't seem like he'll be ready by opening day... I hope our depth will stay fit and perform better when needed now with the relationship with LV. Anyone know what the capacity will be for Saturday?
The MLSPA has released salary data for 2021 season: Vela, Chicharito highest earners Miami, TFC top spenders FC Cincy 5th in salary spend, Chicago 7th. Cincy only club with 3 in top 27 highest-paid Franco Jara 10th highest-paid player in MLS https://theathletic.com/2585286/2021/05/13/mls-salaries-breakdown/
Interesting map. Who issues this? How is it calculated? Good example how every time a team slots in, the pie is divided into smaller pieces. I can see Sacramento taking the northern half of California and maybe part of Nevada, but I would find if San Diego came in for example, much harder to make a footprint against the 2 LA teams. I think Vegas and Phoenix would cut the pie up smaller also.
The team feels like they are missing their edge. Just consistently average, not creating enough chances.
