Here's a list of some players that recovered from ACL surgery:

    Zlatan
    Del Piero
    Falcoa (3 times)
    Baggio (aged 18)
van Nistelrooy (delayed his transfer to Man U)
    Shearer (in his debut season)
    Roy Keane
    Gazza
    Totti
    Pires

I'd say Keane and Gazza weren't quite the same players when they came back but there have been wonderful advances in surgery in the last two decades.

I guess Falcao may not have fully recovered given the same knee went twice.

i had surgery about 4 weeks after I tore my PCL. I don’t remember exactly why because it’s been so long but players I’ve coached, that have torn ACL or MCL, it’s ranged from one week to four. It just depends on various factors.

Yeah I thought so as well but apparently that’s how it goes when athletes year their ACLs, wait about a month for swelling to go down. Learned this when Saquon Barkley waited a month for surgery.

Jordan Morris. He's been a bright spot after surgery.

And by the way, they may have waited to do the surgery until after the swelling went down (just read this about Morris, that they waited a few weeks).

    Edit: as mentioned just above!

Cupping is a Chinese thing. Commonly used by such famous acupuncturists as my brother.

He tweeted or posted on Instagram a video of him starting to run. That was back at the end of April or early May. I haven’t seen an update but I did see that PSV tweeted a pic of 1st team squad numbers, Richie was #37, and he retweeted the post. Take that for what it’s worth.
