Fox will survive, they have deep pockets. OANN may not though and they know it. One common misconception as well is that if Fox lose most of their advertisement $$, they will fold. That is not going to happen since Fox gets most of its revenues from "carriage fees". Cable companies pay “carriage fees” to networks and other tv channels to add them their packages lineup sold to end customers. Guess what, FOX command the highest carriage fees in the cable news, almost 6x MSNBC's and 2x CNN's. (IIRC. Fox is at $2/CNN at $.90 and MSNBC at $.33). That is where most of their revenues comes from. So basically, cable subscribers are subsidizing Fox since most people will be paying Fox in their package, wether they watch it or not. Keep in mind that there are over 90 M subscribers in the US. The solution is either to push the Cable and satellite companies to unbundle their offers and people can choose to remove Fox or the second option is to cancel your cable TV all together. I have done that, just kept my internet access and can still access CNN or MSNBC online or on AppleTV or Amazon fire. Check this for more details: https://unfoxmycablebox.com
Ted Cruz lack of self awareness is pretty telling...... Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) tells the Ruthless podcast that his wife, Heidi, is “pretty pissed” at the leaked text messages about their family’s trip to Cancun while Texas faced massive power outages. Said Cruz: “Here’s a suggestion, just don’t be assholes. Yeah, like just you know, treat each other as human beings have some degree, some modicum of respect.”

Oh well....I guess Purdue didn't get the Donald blessings...... What a shitshow! Former Sen. David Perdue (R-GA) announced that he will not run for the U.S. Senate in Georgia next year. The Atlanta Journal Constitution says Perdue’s decision clears the way for other Republicans to enter what could be a crowded 2022 race against Democrat Raphael Warnock. Backstory from Maggie Haberman: “Perdue had dinner with and played a long round of golf with Trump last week. It did not go well. Two people briefed on the meetings said Trump was very focused on McConnell and Kemp and retribution.”
Ted couldn't care less: wonder why that is... Sen. Ted Cruz is on his phone while former Chief of Police Steven Sund testifies about violence at the January 6 Capitol insurrection.pic.twitter.com/vXR1odKmFX— The Recount (@therecount) February 23, 2021

And we also need to remember that Dominion is out to restore/reclaim it's reputation. It happens that conservative media has been the problem, but they are not focused on taking down conservative media.

It's called the Gondor case because the argument is that, since the election was fraudulent, the US doesn't have an executive branch at this time, so we need someone to watch over the government until the rightful President can be found. A "steward", if you will. Like Gondor in Lord of the Rings. And the case goes downhill from there. This latest filing appears to be a dispute from one of the lawyers, who put in a bunch of pro bono time and then got fired - it's not clear if he was fired because was too nutty, or because he was not nutty enough - and is now asking to be paid for his work.
Ron Johnson is such a vile piece of work. At the hearings on the Hill, he is describing the rioters at the Capitol a “festive crowd.” "pro-police etc, basically blaming the events on infiltrators / agitators and the Police itself.
If anybody is actually interested in reading the documents, as opposed to someone's tweets about the documents, almost the entire case file is at: https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/29347542/latinos-for-trump-v-sessions/ They are really something.
The attorney is Paul Davis. He was first fired from his firm job as counsel to an insurance company for being part of the January 6th Insurrection. He has now been fired by most of the Plaintiffs in this case. Here is his awesome signature block from the filings: /s/ Paul M. Davis Paul M. Davis Texas Bar Number 24078401 Admitted to Western Dist. TX Former Associate General Counsel of Goosehead Insurance, Inc. (Terminated after peacefully protesting) Now Solo Civil Rights Attorney His motion to withdraw as counsel after being fired in this case is epic. First paragraph; 1. Due to Mr. Davis’s refusal to implement the strategy advocated for by Ms. SoRelle, who has a long history working with Plaintiffs Latinos for Trump, Blacks for Trump, Joshua Macias, B.G., and M.S. (the “SoRelle Plaintiffs”), these Plaintiffs have fired Mr. Davis as their counsel in this case. Mr. Davis, by now used to being fired for standing up for his principles, is saddened by the decisions of these Plaintiffs to pursue what he believes is not a sound strategy, since he was very proud to represent the same. (Emphasis mine) His motion for an extension of time is equally epic: Last paragraph: 24. Anyone who has worked with Mr. Davis in the past at his various law firms would be able to testify to his integrity, character, and professionalism.10 Mr. Davis suspects even colleagues at Goosehead Insurance would have to admit he did a pretty great job for them prior to January 6, 2021, since he was constantly showered with compliments on his work and attitude. 10 Unless, of course, any of these persons start receiving “outside influence” like other individuals apparently have. His new email is: paullovesamerica@protonmail.com
He is afraid. Not for his job, but for his freedom. I suspect (but have no "knowledge" of this) that he has some shady things being investigated. Also, I was listening to "Capitol Notes" on Wisconsin Public Radio and Reince Preibus is being recruited to run. Oh, and, yes, he is "such a vile piece of shit."
