Be top scorer/assist provider for the team going on to win multiple titles a year. If he contributes to the team finally achieving a treble I might say he was worth the move too.
the right decision, but will never happen. Egos are too big for something like acknowledging a mistake in real madrid. next year nothing will happen with Eden. if next year he is also playing only 10 games, we will loan him the following year.
In what world will Hazard leave though? If you're a team looking to sign him, how much money do you offer him? Who expects a guy to just pack his stuff and earn half as much as he does now? The only way he leaves is if he's miserable living in Madrid, and it simply doesn't really feel that way.
Shutdown all mcdonalds in madrid, stop door dash or Uber eats to his house. These are the necessary steps needed to make him feel miserable in madrid.
Bale has a private driving range outside in his yard in Madrid i believe. Real Madrid players are just swimming in luxury. Ronaldo and Kroos have an entire athletic park, tennis court and (small) football pitch included.
but when you put 150 million some diligence was needed - we repeatedly buy player with deteriorating physical condition
I don't believe his condition is physical, but that might be just me (and his national team doctor) that believes that.
Always looks like he is playing reservedly with a fear of getting injured again, don't think he can thrive playing that way, so maybe it is mental
He was supposed to be out for 5 weeks, now he's back to training in some miracle recovery. The whole thing stinks. I felt it was fishy when he missed the entire brutal run in 2020, then returned "when he was ready" after the team did well there and we had a relatively easy run. When the national team doctor starts talking about pressure of living up to the expectations impacting his physical state, yeah. Seems pretty clear cut to me.
We should put a section about mental fitness in each players contract. Something like, " if we paid above $50M for you and you can't stand the pressure - no salary and contract expires in 6 months"
Kaka's stats look incredible compared to what Hazard has given in 1.5 seasons. 2009-10: 9 goals and 11 assists in Liga and CL. 2010-11: 7 goals and 6 assists in Liga and CL 2011-12: 8 goals and 16 assists in Liga and CL. I wish Hazard would have any of those season numbers at RM in the remaining years of his contract. Dude's giving 1 goal per season in La Liga. Shocking.
We went from Kaka to Bale averaging around 20 and 12 assists those first seasons, to WashedBale, to Hazard (who is even worse than WashedBale). I mean we used to have a guy score around 20 goals and 12 assists a season and he was our thrid best scorer and second best assist guy in our front three. Now we're lucky to see 5 goals from a player in the front three outside of Benzema.
Everytime this fat loser is injured we are in a good run but once he came back and start we collapse......im so happy that he is injured.Vinicius may be trash by RM standarts but with him there is balance in the team and the left wing isnt dead. I hope Burger King will never play for this club ever again,he is a cancer on and off the pitch
Which coach of ours brought in a psychologist to help players mental states, was if Luxemburgo? Maybe get him on the phone again to help Hazard
There was a time when us old folks here would adamantly claim that anyone in the forward/AM positions doing less than 10 goals and 10 assists a season would be considered a failure. Hell I mean even Julio Baptista looks good in comparison (not that he was even that bad).
Chicharito had 7 goals and 4 assists in 7 League starts and somewhere around 850 minutes overall. Wanna know more?
