I thought Hot Boy meant someone trafficking drugs. Does it have an altogether different Caribbean meaning?
There's a steel drum guy in Grove City. Maybe he's a soccer fan. https://www.gigsalad.com/Solo-Musicians/Steel-Drum-Player/OH/Columbus
You guys should consider signing Joevin Jones, he is available for free after being released by Seattle Sounders.
One thing the Crew doesn't need is another wide midfielder. Particularly one on a TAM contract coming off a bad year.
Maybe his younger brother Alvin Jones .... https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x642tn4 PS Bill, what is a TAM contact?
Forgot about changing the name of this thread. Done! I was going to put "HOT BOY!" in the title, but I thought this was a drug reference. @Kick The Ball ?
TAM players are players that take make above the Max budget charge ($600k or so this year, 12.5% of the salary budget.) and are bought down using Targeted Allocation Money.
Ouch. We might have to revoke your welcome around here... Even our 6-0 beatdown of T&T in the 2019 Gold Cup doesn't lessen the sting of Couva.
Name is what you like. He is from Carenage, a place where street small goal football is big... Columbus Carenage Crew
Actually, I think we do need another wide mid. Molino, Diaz, and Etienne are all likely gonna miss time with national team duty. That was not a factor last year. And we carried 5 last year. We only have 4 now, though Parente may be able to play wide. But I do not expect much from our newest HG in year 1. Though I agree 100% we do not want any part of of Jones. And RB is a higher priority. A wingback might kill two birds...
Btw, one of T&T hottest prospect right now. (Levi Garcia)..... Levi Garcia scores an Olimpico (direct from a corner kick) for AEK Athens FC vs Apollon Smyrnis https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=786726445248827
With a new team coming into the league and a few other big signings it feels like this move has fallen under the radar. If he plays at the level he did last year we are talking about a best 11 caliber player joining this offense. It's exciting to think how much attacking quality we have available, especially compared to two seasons ago
