I thought it was okay, but (spoilers?) that subplot with the older detective's kid was straight garbage.
I enjoyed the second season as well, but also thought the sub-plot you mention was worrying evidence of writers getting high on their own supply. They'd have been better served showing the childhood behavior of an historical figure, if you know what I mean. It's the US, after all - there are sadly plenty of candidates.
History of Swear words. This can’t be real I have to be tripping or asleep still. No way football is on the same channel I watched good burger on and nick cage is doing Samuel l Jackson impersonations on Netflix on the same day. No way this feels like a dream
finally hooked the wife on The Sopranos, so that and mostly rewatching Archer when I'm not playing No Man's Sky.
I told Alexa to tell me to tell me to tell me what movie to watch. She told me this. I think i might have seen it but not sure. Be frugal and check library? I didn’t even stop for edibles when Portillo’s was 3 blocks away and they actually had some in my price range.
I love the way these recent docudrama's have revealed the way inter-agency rivalry, professional ambition, and personalities (and their corresponding blindspots) hinder these investigations. It particularly troubling to me how a chain of command ending at the POTUS seems to create so much tension and urgency it becomes nearly impossible for the boots on the ground to do their jobs in an objective, thoughtful manner. I don't know what we even do about that.
I dunno Lotr sounds perfect right now. I’m trying to figure out what to do with this thinkpad. I think it burned the inside of my left thigh but the screen is gorgeous
