Kim Moon-hwan is set to join LAFC, pending medical in the next week or two. I told you it was a curveball 🤪 https://t.co/z0eWWumEmw— Steve Han • 한만성 (@realstevescores) December 28, 2020 hopefully he adjusts well with the mostly latinx squad
Agreed. They indeed have been playing quality ball. It's always good to have a KNT player playing here.
Funny, because up until a year or so ago, folks here would raise hell for any KNT prospects moving to MLS...
MLS has been looking like a farmers league for young players wanting to go to Europe recently. Not sure if KMH has those aspirations or has the potential to do so, but I kinda like it. Being an LA native it’s good to see a Korean player come play here. Hope many Korean Americans in LA can cheer him on

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thesun.co.uk/sport/13743130/spurs-chelsea-watford-kim-min-jae/amp/ Rumors are back and this time Chelsea is a new hat that’s thrown in the “KMJ transfer” ring. Tottenham probably are tired of conceding set piece/headers goals now...

KMJ won't be Spurs' priority. They signed Joe Rodon for GBP15m in the last transfer window instead of KMJ. They have a limited war chest so unlikely to spend it for another centre back.
KMJ isn’t going to the EPL lol. Even if he did it would be a poor move from him (although not too bad for his wallet)
Conflicting reports regarding KMJ 🗞[@GuardianSport] | Tottenham Hotspur are still weighing up an offer for the highly-rated South Korea centre-back Kim Min-jae before the window shuts.🇰🇷The Beijing Guoan centre-back is nicknamed 'the monster' and is a rising star in Asia.#THFC #COYSpic.twitter.com/UaGLlj9jOj— Last Word On Spurs (@LastWordOnSpurs) January 16, 2021 I believe those who are saying Tott will do it are all based on on article in the Mirror https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/tottenham-transfer-news-kim-min-23316827 While this was posted recently by Football London. I remember reading an article like a month ago that Tott are def interested, but they would be in for him next summer as opposed to now. 🗞[@Football_LDN] | Tottenham Hotspur are unlikely to make a move for South Korean defender Kim Min-jae in this window.❌Talks of a potential transfer for the South Korean international in the on-going transfer window are ‘wide of the mark.#THFC #COYSpic.twitter.com/UaGLlj9jOj— Last Word On Spurs (@LastWordOnSpurs) January 18, 2021 In addition, for what it's worth the KFA released a random highlight mix of him a few days ago.
Beijing doesn’t really need the money, would not be surprised if he doesn’t get a transfer this summer either.
if he plays out the contract, he has more leverage to get a higher salary and more options for a club
He’ll almost be 26, so he’ll definitely hold out if it means he can get paid more (more than he would otherwise at least, can’t see him getting more than he does at Beijing). I also think there’s a big chance that he extends his contract considering that his other options are probably Middle East/Asian leagues that don’t pay as well as China.
