I think Twitter is having trouble keeping up with the demand on their servers. I was seeing this yesterday too - a tweet will show up in a BigSoccer post, and then the next time I look at the thread it says it's not a valid tweet ID, and then later the tweet shows up again.
The Trump administration has really blown away my low expectations. There were a lot more politicians cowering in bunkers than I anticipated.
They don't have empathy. They cannot see beyond their own narrow concerns. Think of every elected Republican who supports marriage equality. They all began supporting it only after they or someone close to them came out. So for things like this, they think, "well, I'd do this, therefore these people must have," because they cannot analyze things from any other perspective than their pathetically myopic one.
I don't think that's it because I think I'm mostly cognizant of reality. Wait - delete button! Where's the delete button!?
We spend $750 billion annually on "defense" and the center of American government fell in two hours to the duck dynasty and the guy in the chewbacca bikini pic.twitter.com/ZMR76cbN2c— Yousef Munayyer (@YousefMunayyer) January 7, 2021
Might be time for leaders to have the talk with Donnie. Like taking the car keys away from Grampa BREAKING NEWS: @cnn @Acosta reports GOP sources close to White House say Trump “unstable, ranting and raving” and “bent on destruction in his final days.” We cannot take the nuclear codes away from him. We must take him away from the nuclear codes - before it is too late. pic.twitter.com/u2Czj7bUyA— Joe Cirincione (@Cirincione) January 7, 2021
If 74 million idiots voted for Donald Trump, I don't think these people will have any trouble whatsoever landing a job. Otherwise, voters would have repudiated other Republican lap-dogs that were on the November ballot (and they unfortunately, did not).
Trump just posted a video on Twitter. He clearly made a deal. If you say this script and post online, you will avoid the 25th. In return, you can see out your full term. I fully expect a rash of pardons to commence soon.
It has not escaped my attention that the day social media companies decided there actually IS more they could do to police Trump’s destructive behavior was the same day they learned Democrats would chair all the congressional committees that oversee them.— Jennifer Palmieri (@jmpalmieri) January 7, 2021
Yes, 100% on both. He doesn't believe a word he just said. He just knows his family need a pardon that badly.
Trump's riot killed more people than Benghazi https://t.co/Kd2UdCaUSn— Emily Atkin (@emorwee) January 8, 2021
how many very famous clowns have to come from yale or harvard for yall to stop citing they went to Yale or Harvard as a reason they're not a clown— Astead (@AsteadWH) January 7, 2021
You fist-pumped insurrectionists and baselessly attacked our elections. Your actions fueled a riot and you fundraised in the chaos. Five people are dead.Even your GOP colleagues have distanced from your acts.Yet here you are crying over a book deal. You should be expelled. https://t.co/9Xn8T9vol4— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) January 8, 2021
Sen. Hawley found a mob to oppose. My statement on the woke mob at @simonschuster pic.twitter.com/pDxtZvz5J0— Josh Hawley (@HawleyMO) January 7, 2021 And he gets extra credit for invoking the First Amendment in a case where it clearly does not apply.
For those of you not getting the Hawley thing pic.twitter.com/NdIkmGbCFI— Simon & Schuster (@simonschuster) January 7, 2021 I'm guessing he gets to keep the advance. And now he'll shop the book to Regnery and capitalize on all of the free publicity.
