he covers a lot of space for the Old Grey Lady ..... and he definitely gives a full challenge for every ball. yes I think he is doing just fine and Pirlo was protecting him from the second yellow and keeping him fresh for AC Milan.
I'm looking at it from the POV of the soccer athletes and their teams playing during the crisis. Does it really affect a person's long-term health if they continue to play after having acquired and "recovered" from COVID (granted their on-field performance could be impacted) ?
Thank you for the clarification. There is some evidence that exercise can actually exacerbate issues with COVID-19. What's not clear, at least to me, is what the long-term implications will be for elite athletes who have "recovered" from the virus. But I don't think anyone should be dismissing concerns at this point.
I accept that exercise is probably not advisable while you have symptoms or even just a positive test. However, if a professional athlete has recovered from COVID, I imagine his team's medical staff would advise him of the potential risk. Since a large (or likely all) portion of the athlete's income is based on playing, I would imagine most athletes would accept the risk.
I am not a doctor, but I would imagine that there's the potential to have COVID-related heart damage that makes it inadvisable to continue your career.
Cuadrado tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss the Milan game. With now both Alex Sandro and Cuadrado out for at least 7-10 days, the starting RB and LB will need to be replaced in the immediate matches. Wes has played RB in the past and even RWB in the first match after Cuadarado was substituted. I think Chiesa most likely gets the start at RWB and Danilo as LB/LWB but it will be an option for Pirlo. Whoever gets the nod as the RWB will have to be weary of Theo Hernandez, he has been incredible and dangerous for the last 18 months.
Very eager to see how Juve and Wes perform tomorrow. The yellow card gave Wes a bit of extra rest... I fully expect him to be in beast mode tomorrow. This is such a huge game for Juve... a must-win if they want to keep their hopes for another title alive.
He couldn't have played though as I don't think they have the Intl Slot available... that was why they are looking to loan him out until the end of the season to another Serie A club that has a slot available. I assume you were half joking... But I have super high expectations for Reynolds. Probably not ready to play for a side as good as Juve but I think he will be within the next year or two.
And now a couple of AC Milan players have COVID 19. Might as well play the game as both teams are likely infected so play it while you still can. https://www.juvefc.com/juventus-boo...ource=push_notifications&utm_medium=onesignal

WTF? Ridiculous he is not starting. He has been one of their best players for over a month now. They don't have anyone else in the midfield that brings that kind of intensity on both sides of the ball. Hoping when he gets subbed in it is not too little too late.
Coming on now. Pirlo realizing his error, or maybe wanted Weston to run a tired Milan midfield ragged.
