    There's no calendar overlap, though: the Nations League finals are during the June 2021 FIFA break before the Copa América, and the Gold Cup will start after (hence Qatar being able to play in both).

    Now, if you mean those tournaments preventing Mexico from fielding anything close to an A-team if they could play Copa América, then you're right.

    Obviously. If Mexico couldn't send an A team to the 2015 Copa America or the 2017 Gold Cup, how are they going to be able to do so if they have even 1 more tournament before that?
