Add basically all of USL League Two to the list. League announced today there’s no “official” season. Some teams may pursue their own “exhibition” season.
I'm guessing League One and most likely USL Championship will follow suit within two weeks, once MLB and MLS determine that having fans at games will be extremely unlikely. Unlike the major leagues, USL needs gate revenue to function. On a related note, France declared their season officially over yesterday too. A handful of other European leagues have done the same. Some are working on deciding how to determine a champion, pro/rel, and Euro qualifications and a couple are still working out MLB-style plans.
I don't see them cancelling anytime soon. They don't have to. They'll be up for delaying as much as possible and potentially shortening the season. Sure, France, Netherlands, Belgium, and Argentina have all called their seasons...but, they aren't 1-2 games into their season and in the same calendar as the US leagues. Some of MLS will be starting back up in May for training. I do imagine some are anticipating and planning for closed-door matches. Others reject that because they need the money from fans at home matches.
Perhaps, but neither does MiLB and they are expected to be making an official announcement in the near future. Baseball is far more entrenched and popular than soccer. Of course, the flip side is that USL might see an opportunity to capitalize on the lack of baseball to increase their profile. They plan to, at least. The West Cost and NY teams (aka the money clubs) will have a hard time because of the COVID-19 situations in their states. Sure, Texas and Florida are trying to reopen, but will the league allow some teams to begin training while others cannot? I have a feeling that any "plans" are subject to change for the same reason that MLB keeps examining different possibilities. The difference is that MLB has been more open with communication and have been addressing virus mitigation amid training, travel, and players' families.

DMB officially involved...very nice: https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2020...marcus-beasley-officially-joins-fort-wayne-fc
I'm gonna need Toledo Villa to follow this same timeline as Fort Wayne FC so we can be rivals from NPSL to USL2 to USL1! I'm not expecting it but my fingers are crossed!

Also, big news out of Reading as Alan McCann has stepped down as their head coach after two seasons (would be three, stupid COVID). Will be interesting to see who they get to takeover a dominant USL2 club.

Jeff Kassouf @JeffKassouf Sweet stadium alert (looking forward to safely being at any stadium again): The Vermont Fusion have added a WPSL team, and they'll play at Applejack Stadium in Manchester, VT (where USL League Two side Black Rock FC will also play). It's an old grandstand in the Green Mountains.
I know what the tweet says. The author was giving an update about a new WPSL team, that was the premise. But, it’s not like you let facts get in the way of spamming posts.
yeah whatever, feel free to place me on ignore...I did look it up and there will be a USL Academy team playing, so the author was fairly close but not exactly correct.
Or, it’s just easiest to quit spamming posts. That is clearly a WPSL tweet with a passing bit of info on a USL2 side. Why is posting on topic so hard for you?
Completely disagree, it is a tweet celebrating a unique and beautiful stadium venue...since I now see where the club does have a team playing in USL 2...completely on topic, again please place me on ignore..
Can’t ignore you when you continue to spam. Spin it your way, every time. Notice how you don’t bring anything to topics and no one replies to you? I’m sure the next thing you’ll do is dig up a topic from 2013 and declare it being relevant too. Moderators do nothing either because the Forum is failing. They something to you, you’ll cry about it and throw a fit and leave. That’s one less they’ll have here.
